Remembering how much i love Power Rangers ❤️ 💥

and i thought about this picture, which i came across a while back. This was one of those meet a character type of things. It was at a local amusement park, called Haunted Trails, what a cool place. Games, tickets, prizes, all of that. The show Power Rangers was already popular at the time. We knew there would be this event happening, or maybe it was random, i dont even know. But this Blue Ranger was there. We formed a line, and waited. This picture, is what i have left from that day. When i was a younger person on this planet.

But...

I have a drawer full of things. In fact, many drawers full of things....

Drawers.... and more Drawers

I always liked things. Inventions, electronics, books, stickers. Dinosaurs, animals, and Egypt.

Video Games was really big to me, because i liked Super Mario, Sonic, and Mickey Mouse.

Ninja Turtles was my all time favorite though and that was an interesting Craze at the time. TV shows, toys, games, they were integrated into almost every part of the fabric. They had a breakfast cereal too. At some point they did a live show that was like a tour. The movies were great, but wow....

side-tracked....

Cuz this is about.....

The....

POWER RANGERS

In my tiny bubble in this time and space..... it was destined that I would love both Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. The toys were really big back then. The marketing, the joy of the characters and collecting. I cant even grasp, as to why i loved the characters and toys so much, it was all just the coolest stuff, i wanted it all.

Which leads me to the toys....

This is a mish mash of my old memories and both the Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers

These toys pictured above is part of my collection, that i have done a couple posts about., but i havent ever mentioned the Power Rangers too often. My favorite might be this Gem here.....

The good ol Megazord. It is a robot made of 5 smaller, separate animal toys. They combine to create this 1 robot, its so nostalgic for me.

All 5 Power Rangers are pictured here, on some of the trading cards that i bought back then too...

I really loved these cards too, this was a special time.

And as I'm reminded of good times, its also time for me...... to escape this memory and reflection....

Wow! How I wish I could turn back the hands of time! I miss those days when I was still an elementary pupil. I used to watch Power Rangers. I had collected cards, too, and ate junk food with Power Rangers in the packaging.😆

  • My shy boy is a trending topic again, how cool is that?

Power Rangers... my playmates like them, I remember we'd play and act like we were them. We'd climb up a long wooden bench, shout 'It's morphin' time,' and then jump one by one... by colors, lol. I was the Pink Ranger, and the Yellow Ranger was the last. After my turn, we were waiting for her, only to find out, she had fallen right after i jumped..shit funny 🤣. I wonder if she remembers that to this day.. this juz reminded me of my solid childhood.. always nice to remember those.

“What a beautiful memory! 💙 Some old pictures carry not just a moment, but a whole piece of our younger days. Thanks for sharing this nostalgic memory!”

  • Mi Color favorito era el rojo, muy poco ví esta serie televisiva, pero si me gustaba las tortugas ninja me identificaba con el más divertido y pequeño

Such awesome things to still have in your possession. That picture is priceless, the good old days of youth. Ninja Turtles came along when I was a bit older, but got really into them when my son was born.

You have some awesome stuff, completely dope!

I remember the best one was always Tommy because he always appeared with an exclusive color, like Green or White.

Reading your post makes me think about how kids these days didn't have a good childhood, haha!

Plus... Such a fantastic collection, @captainquack22! I might even say I'm a little envious, haha! In a good way, of course.

  • @josediccus(83)· 17d

That's a massive collection there. I was a fan of the comics while growing to too, we use to have some editions and then when the shows started coming to TV, we enjoyed it a whole lot. Your collection are aged, but still looks incredibly new

  • @leaky20(79)· 17d

Man, you've got a lot of cool vintage toys.

I loved the power rangers as a kid. Its on Netflix right now, and I actually tried to rewatch it for the nostalgia. I watched 3 episodes I think and then sort of fell out of it. Lol

    Fun throw back though

  • @kellyane(73)· 17d

Every time I read or hear the words “Power Rangers,” I always remember my younger brother.  He absolutely loved watching it, and he would get so upset whenever he was late for the show or wasn’t allowed to watch it.

The funniest part was what happened after every episode. When it was over and it was already bedtime, he would become so hyper! He would keep kicking and pretending to copy the moves of the Power Rangers.

The back of his notebook was always filled with drawings of Power Rangers characters. He was really obsessed with them back then.

I still remember some lyrics of their song. "GO GO POWER RANGERS"!!!!

  • @jfang003(78)· 17d

It's so nice to see you keep so many of those toys, and its always nice to look back at the past. I think I was more into Pokemon/Digimon when I was a kid. I did watch Power Rangers a bit, but not as much as that. Personally, I stayed up late sometimes to watch anime on the cartoon channels such as Cowboy Bepop and Yu Yu Hakusho or Naruto/Bleach.

I loved the Power Rangers too, hehe; the Pink Ranger was my favorite. I didn't really like the Ninja Turtles—they came out of the sewers, and that wasn't very hygienic, hehe—but they were really fun. I loved Donatello's personality; he was the brainiac of the group. Cheers, friend—you look so cute in your photo.

What a heartwarming yet funny story! It’s amazing how a memory involving action figures and old photos can bring back such memorable anecdotes. Here is a suggested comment for @captainquack22’s post:

What an excellent post and such a great dose of nostalgia!

Power Rangers and the Ninja Turtles defined a golden era of childhood for so many of us. Seeing photos of your collection, the trading cards, and especially that classic Megazord assembled from the five Zords brings back wonderful memories of the excitement of collecting and playing back then.

Seeing your photos reminded me of an unforgettable story. Once, we went to a school to put on a puppet show, and a friend's son brought his Power Rangers figures along to play with. During the event, the boy lent them to other students, but when it was over, the toys had vanished!

When his mom tried to find out who had them, she asked the boy (Yury) to describe the friends he’d been playing with so she could look for them. The boy’s answer was completely innocent: he described the exact color of their shirts and pants... which happened to be the same uniform absolutely every child at the school was wearing!

For weeks, the phrase that kept coming up—amidst lots of laughter—was: "Yury, where are the Power Rangers?"

Thanks for sharing your collection and these precious memories. The power of nostalgia is incredible! Best regards.

Wow, my friend, these are the very things that made you a man—these are true relics, my friend. What a photo. I’ll have to show the things that turned me into a true Hive man, too.

  • @ekads(64)· 18d

Wow, that's really cool. You're still taking such good care of everything.
