Loving HIVE ❤

Hive Crocodiles Part 2

To continue on, with some ramblings, and to keep it mostly positive, im here tonight..... to just love Hive a little bit more....

Green... and the Green Game Room

Its a pumpy day it appears but thats not the whole story. Lately, my heart is being pulled at from all directions, for a variety of reasons. The gaming room in my picture is from my friends house, as he is quite the builder. It was nice to just sit down for an hour, and just enjoy a game.

He has quite the collection of retro games now. With all the main, classic systems like Nintendo, Sega Genesis, N64, Dreamcast, etc.

But, the time spent with a friend, some laughs is where its at. In this fast paced world, where we have too much to do, too many thoughts....its nice to just chill for a little while.

I too, have a little collection because i kept a lot of my things from childhood. I grew up in that era, when electronics were just coming out. Lot of innovation, lot of mystique, and wonder. I can remember early days, just plugging things into a television, and getting my controller, and playing Mario. Such interesting times and great memories.

Heres my collection, stuffed into a drawer....

Crocodile Thoughts Though

Cuz its still been a while....Hive Crocodiles....

This here... was actually year 2018 i believe for my friend Jeremys wedding. A few of us friends collected together for that day, to prepare, to drink a couple beers.... and i had a guitar in my hands.

But, Hive has brought me into quite the world. My post from 2 days ago, reminded me how many friends i have made here. Its always nice to catch up. Always nice to try and help each other out, because of course we want our coin to do well, and to build a nice account here. The community of people is the most important. Life is somewhat short in some ways, and people make the world go around. From other countries, and everywhere in between, im a bit amazed to get nice comments and such, and we should all keep this place buzzin if we can.

So as my night at work moves on, whether its cold....or hot 🔥

That might be an interesting spot....

To just Stop.....

Cuz im just a Duck.... trying to Rock 🎸

Turtles, great choice for a game to enjoy with your friend. I see you have an original NES Zapper there. I use to have two. The classic orange one and a grey one. I had them packed away and upon cleanup my then other half bugged the shit out of me to toss them because they were "broke". To be fair I do hang onto some things that should be tossed. For some reason my mind blanked to the fact those NES zappers can't be used on modern T.V.'s and modern T.V's is what I tested them on. Unfortunately I remembered too late an older style T.V. was needed. They are in a landfill somewhere now. It's great to see you posts doing so well. Keep on rocking and stacking.

Wow, he has a great collection—enough to keep you from ever getting bored. When they get together, they have a good time, and that's great. Well, that's what you do with friends. Cheers.

Your green room looks quite nice (and particularly different for me, because it's the first time I've seen this), @captainquack22.

I bet the vibe must be dope while playing.

Greetings, I also play but not in a green room, I play outdoors in my hammock

  • @josediccus(83)· 3d

The green room looks absolutely fun...

Nice collection of games and systems! Some of the classics! I've made so many good friends here as well, many have vanished into the perverbial fog... Such is Hive. Good to see you again though, I hope things are going well!

  • @angeluxx(74)· 4d

I'd have a great game room, hehe. I'm glad you're having a good time, I hope to see you around here more often.

Love this! Holding on to childhood treasures really brings back the magic of those early gaming days. Plugging into the TV and playing Mario was such a classic memory--- innovation and wonder all rolled into one.😍

  • @atnazo(77)· 4d

    WOW, really nice gaming room.

Looks like retro " man cave" where you hide away from problems and you just play games for fun!

You're always welcome! I played a lot of Mario Bros. I had an arcade with my four brothers, hehe. Un abrazo 🤗 chico caballero muchas bendiciones 🙏

Those classic gaming systems and games are incredible. Thats an amazing collection. A dream!

That green light is wild though. I can't tell if I would like the green or if it would be bads vibes for me. Sometimes too much red or green light can go the wrong way for me. Maybe not though?

He has quite the collection of retro games now. With all the main, classic systems like Nintendo, Sega Genesis, N64, Dreamcast, etc.

These days where companies want to put subscriptions in everything and even if you buy a digital game it's not yours, you're only buying a license, the retro games are now a treasure!

I too, have a little collection because i kept a lot of my things from childhood

I sold mine some years ago, not for the money, but because I don't like having around stuff I don't use anymore (also because I don't have much room too store it, so that's a reason too 😂).

I was also reading your previous post and... what can I say? Seeing HIVE dropping in value so much it's not what we were hoping for... but as you said, at least here on Hive you keep the friendship you made down the road :) and that's a value the market can't take away from you!

Keep rockin' mate! With that outfit and the guitar you rock!

    !PIMP

  • I have mixed feelings about console games; I also have fond memories of them, when I only played Nintendo and forgot about everything else—those are good memories.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better and spending time with friends; you have a friend here too if you'd like ☺️

P.S.: You look great with that guitar in your hand 😏 It's time to rock! 🎸

  • I miss these old game systems, they had a different feeling

Indeed! We all need to care for ourselves. I feel Hive is more lively as the space is without any toxicity that I get from the social networks, and I have shifted to Hive for that tme I spent in other spaces. Still I am in short on time, but I love exploring communities and playing Hive games.

By the way, you have great memories of those childhood fantasies with a solid collection; I can still remember my uncle's DVD player with my cousins when we spent whole vacations playing games with the miracle sounds of fighting, firing and racing!

Nice old collection. I really do like the older games more than the newer games. I just felt that the games felt new even if they don't have the quality of life features. Fast travel is nice in newer games, but man I remember having to go through maps manually in the past and having fun.

This is absolutely true. Gathering with close friends and laughing together—without any masks, since there is nothing to hide—is something worth celebrating. Spending time together, even for a brief moment, free from the distractions of mobile phones and other things, is truly something to cherish.
