Good evening, dear Hive platform. I hope you're all well. I send you my warmest greetings, which I extend to the wonderful idea and project of https://scrobble.life/. Welcome to my review.

Today I'm presenting a song that I really like because it's so well done. The instruments, especially the drums and bass, sound fantastic, I'd say. I particularly love listening to the drums on their own. On YouTube, you can usually hear most of their songs instrument by instrument separately, and I confess that listening to just the isolated drums in this song is like a robot playing them. That's where we see the virtuosity of Richard Starking, better known as Ringo Starr.

The song, titled "She Said, She Said," is from the album "Revolver," where it appears as the seventh track. Recorded in mid-June 1966, this psychedelic rock track was recorded at EMI Studios in London, produced by George Martin, and released on the Parlophone label. While credited to Lennon and McCartney, John was primarily responsible for the song's composition. Paul had little involvement in the recording sessions due to disagreements over the arrangements, but he did contribute his virtuosity on the bass, with some assistance from George.

It was said at the time that they were visiting a rented house belonging to actor Peter Fonda, taking certain prohibited substances, and that during their stay and conversations, John came up with some of the lyrics. It's also said that the language used in those conversations was quite coarse and vulgar, and the song was originally going to be "He Said, He Said," but Lennon changed it to "She" instead of "He" to introduce the feminine element. He also changed the profanity and vulgarity to more sweet and gentle words, and it finally came out with the title "She Said She Said."

In the song, we can hear John on lead vocals, backing vocals, rhythm guitar, and organ; Paul on bass; George on lead guitar and backing vocals (some sources say he helped Paul with bass); and Ringo on drums and shaker. The song didn't appear on the Billboard charts because it was never released as a standalone single; it was only included on the album "Revolver." However, this LP did reach number 1 on the Billboard charts. For me, it was one of the best songs on this extraordinary album, along with other tracks from that record. It's no wonder it's considered a masterpiece by many music critics, and I agree.
