Greetings to my friends at Hive and @catarsis. Today I’m going to share with you my experience on my first day at work, at the educational institution where I worked, near the community where I live.
Cabe destacar que tuve mis vacaciones casi finalizando el mes Julio, terminando el año escolar 2025 -2026 y al comienzo del mes de septiembre el ministro de educación manifestó en una entrevista que las actividades escolares iniciarían el 9 de septiembre, pero está fecha no corresponde a la fecha que está establecido el contrato colectivo, que es el 16 de septiembre, después llamo a clases el 14 de septiembre. En la primera fecha algunos docente se incorporaron, dejándose de esta manera violentar sus derechos.
It is worth noting that I had my holidays towards the end of July, at the end of the 2025–2026 school year, and at the beginning of September the Minister of Education stated in an interview that school activities would begin on 9 September; however, this date does not correspond to the date set out in the collective agreement, which is 16 September. He subsequently called for classes to resume on 14 September. On the first date, some teachers returned to work, thereby having their rights violated.
Asimismo en mi caso, nuestro coordinador nos envió una información que debíamos iniciar el 14, sin embargo yo hice caso omiso, ya que la fecha que legalmente nos corresponde es el día 16 de septiembre. Quedé sorprendido porque algunos colegas si se incorporaron el día 14, pero de mi parte pienso que todo el personal no debió trabajar el día 14. A pesar de todo esto el ministro de educación dijo que un 90% los maestros se incorporaron en esa fecha, pero en realidad fueron pocos.
Similarly, in my case, our coordinator sent us a notice stating that we were due to start on the 14th; however, I ignored it, as the date legally applicable to us is 16 September. I was surprised that some colleagues did return to work on the 14th, but personally I believe that none of the staff should have worked on the 14th. Despite all this, the Minister of Education stated that 90 per cent of teachers returned to work on that date, but in reality there were very few.
Inicié mis actividades, realizando la limpieza de mi espacio de trabajo y le cuento que de 21 equipos de computación, solo me quedaron activos 2, el resto presentan problemas con fuentes de poder y tarjeta madre. Ahora para atender a los estudiantes tendré que buscar una estrategia para poder aprovechar el espacio porque realmente se requiere es una redotacion de equipo de computación para poder utilizar las nuevas tecnologías.
I began my work by tidying up my workspace, and I must tell you that out of 21 computers, only two are still working; the rest have problems with their power supplies and motherboards. Now, in order to support the students, I will have to come up with a strategy to make the most of the space, because what is really needed is a replacement of the computer equipment so that we can use the new technologies.
