We all know that Modern has come back with a vengeance. And I am here for it because for a while there I stopped playing Splinterlands every day. Sure I would submit my Brawl battles for my Guild Brawls (when I remembered), and I would claim my land from time to time. But besides that I wasn't really playing daily since Frontier came out and I played around with that and bought all max cards and it wasn't fun anymore.
But this last season was a blast! I didn't play an insane amount because my bot was still playing WILD and Survival modes and my total energy was limited. But I think I manged to do all right for myself!
Sure I only played 29 battles in Modern this season but I will take an almost 80% winrate! I could only really play 1 or 2 games per day due to my limited Energy and laziness to buy more Energy. I did start to play Modern on my alt account @swagnar-ragnar though just to keep playing.
But that is not where the fun ends people....
Ascension Token / Tournament
A few seasons ago I did well enough that I was blessed with an Ascension Token. And subsequently I participated in the Tournament with it.
It was my first (and only) Ascension Tournament and I had fun! There was a lot of Glint on the line to be won and I wanted my piece of it!
There are multiple rounds and let's just say I have my fun in the 1st round...
Because I didn't do good enough to make it to the 2nd round haha.
I could have won 300,000 Glint if I got 1st place (which was never going to happen obviously).
What is cool is that I joined another Tournament at the same time and I pulled away with decent free winnings!
Time to Go Shopping!
I wasn't kidding when I said I was lazy earlier. I have amassed a nice little nest egg of Glint and Merits over the last few seasons and I think now is the time to spend it.
I also have a few packs I have picked up recently!
So let's get into the fun part!
Time to buy some Reward Cards to hoepfully maybe 'Master Set' this Reward set.. One can hope anyways!
25 Epic Draws
3 Legendary Draws
Pack Openings
11 Gladius Cases
10 Chaos Legion Packs
4 Gold Cards from Chaos Legion and 2 Gold Foils Gladiators!
That is all. Just posting to post to get back into it!
