SPS DAO Project Manager Invoicing and Recap September 2026
Hello my fellow Splinterkin. Another busy month is in the books and the development pipeline is packed heading into the last stretch of the year. Let's take a quick run through the highlights and update you guys on what's happening behind the scenes.
DAO token buybacks are continuing. Credit purchases are still strong and should cover October with some extra funds left over to keep feeding the buybacks. We'll keep them a bit measured so we stay ahead of the monthly payment obligations to the team, but it's safe to say that finances are looking much better the last couple of months.
We've been testing and prepping the new set of voucher cards that should ship out today. We're introducing two new abilities, so of course there were bugs to work out and plenty of balance passes needed before we were comfortable putting them in front of you guys. This should be a fun drop and you're all going to want to play with these. Volley feels likely to bring ranged right back into the meta for sure.
We've also been hard at work designing, testing and balancing the next core set, Battle for Praetoria. That includes a few new abilities and a new core feature that needs extensive testing and balance work on top of the dozens of new cards that all require their own assessment. Still too early to spill details, but things are firming up and feeling good already.
Brackets for Modern format should be going live today as well. Liquidity bots should be ready to go at launch. Looking forward to checking another DAO proposal for a community-led change to the game off the list. This one has been a grind to prepare for and I need to give a huge shoutout to @almightymelon for his help in getting the liquidity bots ready.
We wrapped up the transfer of funds to Canuck Place Children's Hospice. The amount totaled over $22,000 CAD and the Hospice reached out by phone to thank us and let us know how grateful they are for the contribution. I think we picked a really special charity to support and we should all be proud of our community for this one. Thanks for being awesome guys.
Well, back to it then. Thanks for reading if you're one of those folks that reads things. Hope you're all prepared for a busy end to 2026. We're not going to be slowing down any time soon. Until next time...
We did not have any DAO Sponsored proposals for September.
