A little while ago, I wrote about how the low price of HIVE was becoming a problem for Holozing’s development. At the time, it was a frustrating situation: a project could continue working, have interesting ideas, and have a community behind it, but the value of Hive’s token was making available resources much smaller.
Now, fortunately, the situation seems to be changing a little.
HIVE has recently started recovering, and while we are still far from being able to call this a complete turnaround, this increase reminds us of something important: the price of HIVE can change quickly, and when it does, it can also change the perspective we have on projects connected to the ecosystem.
For Holozing, this is particularly interesting.

In my previous article, I talked about how the price of HIVE could end up dragging down the development of the game. When the resources generated within the ecosystem lose value, maintaining a development team, creating content, paying for infrastructure, marketing, and all the other expenses involved in building a game becomes much more difficult.
But the opposite can also happen.

When HIVE gains value, those same resources can represent more real-world value. This doesn't mean that Holozing suddenly has unlimited funding or that development will magically become faster, but it can give the project a little more breathing room.
And I think this is the most interesting part.

Holozing does not exist in isolation from Hive. It is part of an ecosystem where users, investors, content creators, developers, and communities are connected in different ways. When sentiment around HIVE improves, attention toward projects built within the ecosystem can improve as well.
This could create a kind of domino effect.
More interest in HIVE could mean more people entering the ecosystem. More people could mean new users discovering Holozing. And more potential users could lead to more activity, more content, and potentially more interest in the game's development.

Of course, we shouldn't get too excited about a short-term price increase. The cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile, and HIVE has experienced plenty of ups and downs before. A sustained recovery would be much more important than a temporary pump.
Still, after talking about how a weak HIVE price could hurt Holozing, I think it is only fair to look at the other side of the coin.

Maybe this recent increase is only temporary. Maybe HIVE will continue climbing. Nobody really knows.
What we do know is that Holozing benefits from having a healthy ecosystem around it. If HIVE can maintain this positive momentum and gradually recover more of its value, that could become much more important for Holozing than it might seem at first.
