Hive Power

Where did the last month go??? 🤦‍♀

Oh dear. It appears to be 1st September, and I feel like I have been MIA from Hive for altogether far too long.

There is evidence in my lack of posts, lack of comments, but also that I had a grand total of 2.045 HIVE to power up. Whooops.

I guess I have FELT like I've been on Hive regularly because most days I do the HiveWord and the CrossSwap (which are SO fun! If you've not heard of these and love words, you can check it out and play along here.

I need to find an easy, easy, easy way to get back on Hive most days.

There are always millions of things I could talk about, but I seem to get fatigued by 1. being on the screen so much (with work + socialising + Hive) and 2. creating content (for my business, with Hive very much an afterthought).

I'm going to attempt, yet again, to recommit to short posts more often.

Let's see how I go.

I probably just need to give myself permission to TEACH something, as that's always my most favourite thing.

Did you power up a far more reasonable amount than me this month?

Please let me know in a comment below, and I'll jump on over to check out your most recent post. (Because, after all, it's the awesome people on Hive, who I miss, who have any chance of getting me back on here...)

It is truly wonderful to see you back. Please, release the weight of 'being away.' Life is cyclical, and our energy—like any precious resource—must be spent where it serves us and our purpose best. Screen fatigue is a very real challenge, and acknowledging that your well-being comes first is a sign of great wisdom, not failure.

There is deep beauty in your intention to return to teaching; sharing knowledge is perhaps the most noble contribution we can make to a community. Don’t strive for volume; strive for the value of those small, authentic moments you choose to share. Consistency is not about perfection, but about showing up for yourself and others in whatever capacity you can sustain. And regarding the power-up? It is not the quantity that defines your commitment, but the intent behind it. You are right where you need to be. Welcome back to the flow.
