I ended Saturday with a limited loss as the main bet on Westerlo ended up losing and it wasn't even close, I'm still in the green on the week and look forward to the Sunday matches where I have some more action...

Cercle Brugge vs Antwerp

Cercle Brugge is last in the standings and they are the only team who are yet to take a win. Their play itself is not that bad and they have potential in the team more that some of their opponents. However, they always one way or another manage to screw up. Last week they got a 0-2 lead over Union but a red card followed by a collapse made it 6-2. The week before against Anderlecht they were the better team over the entire match but gave a 1-0 lead away in the last 5 minutes and somehow lost 1-2. If anything, it should be a matter of time before they start winning and today very well could be that day against Antwerp who also have been quite poor this season and are head-and-shoulders last in the number of xg they get against (2.6 on average in their last 4 matches!). Antwerp however last week managed to break a 5-game losing streak with a surprise 3-0 win over Charleroi. They played with a little bit more risk forward in their balls this time which paid off so I expect again for them to do this today. Overall they showed much better compared to the weeks before and it's the big question if they can also do this away from home. I was hoping for a good line on Cercle Brugge who are due for a win but to my surprise they were made the -0.5 favorite which is too high of a handicap on a team who haven't won yet against a team who broke a losing streak and played better. By now, the line came down to -0.25 and i'm a bit more tempted to take a small shot at it. I took 0.1 unit each on Cercle Brugge -0.25 @ 1.889 & Cercle Brugge 1st Half -0.25 @ 2.150. Despite the poor results, Cercle in total is 32-12 on the corners at home and also occasionally away created 10+. Antwerp hasn't won a corners matchup in their last 5 matches and twice on the road got 10+ against. I'm looking to possibly back Cercle Brugge on the corners in-game and already took a couple crypto bets on them to win the 1st half corners. The main aspect that stands out in this match is that Antwerp is left with an extreme high xg against and they last week played more forward while cercle has a high collapse ratio. So I like the over and I took 0.1 unit on Over 3.5 @ 3.060 along with 0.1 unit on Over 2.75 @ 2.009 and an eye to increase on this in-game as both teams are very high on the 2H goals ratio since they both regularly collapse they have 59% & 69% on 2H goals. Should be an interesting match.

Sint-Truiden vs OH Leuven

Sint-Trioden has done ok in the cup and in Europe but recently in the league they have been unable to win their matches with 4 losses in a row. OHL is on the opposite spectrum as they started really bad but have been unbeaten now in the last 4 games. If anything, they really improved in their defensive stability with a season average of 1.62xg which now in the last 4 games was at just 0.97xg putting them 2nd best. Stvv still gets goals against and are at 1.74xg on average. I'm liking the line and the odds here on the visitors and took 0.4 units on OH Leuven +0.75 @ 2.00. Mirisola makes a big difference for Leuven as a striker and Balikwisha showed good form so the combined 1.62xg created for OHL along with the average 1.74xg against in the last 4 for Stvv made me tak 0.2 units on OH Leuven Team Total Over 1 @ 2.020. Stvv have won all their corner matchups at home while OHL lost all of theirs away. However, the line is set at -2.5 so I'm not going to bother and only if OHL takes the lead I might go for Stvv corners team total over as OHL got 6-10-7-9 against in their away matches.

Lommel vs AA Gent

Lommel hasn't been that spectacular of a team but they still are in 8 place and without a loss in the last 3 (all against non-top-teams). Last week, they were a bit lucky to score a late 2-2, In the cup they got crushed by Stvv, Against Beveren they put up a good performance but also were highly efficient. Against Mechelen at home they were very afraid of the counters and in the match they were only really focused on the defense which resulted in a 0-0. Something they would sign for today and I expect a similar gameplan from them. AA Gent has been a team where everything so far went their way while at the same time they played very mature never panicking and staying solid in the defense. Last week they won 4-0 against Anderlecht which was a win pure on defensive counter tactics and hyper efficient finishing. I fully expect a match where Lommel is affraid of these counters and gives the ball to AA Gent who might not be good enough to really make the difference. because some exagerrated scorelines, the total line in this match feels a bit too high and I'm willing to take a bet on the under. I took 0.36 units on Under 2.75 @ 1.920 along with 0.241 units on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.250 . I also feel like AA Gent is due to start losing points but was not willing to take more than 0.12 units on Lommel +0.75 @ 1.934

Charleroi vs La Louviere

Charleroi started the season really solid but recently their performances started to be going down a bit also with a loss last week against Antwerp. They still are quite high and consistant on xg created in their matches at 1.97-1.61-2.04-1.64-2.18-1.61-1.53-1.25-3.16 this season starting with the latest match. La Louviere on the other hand has been consistant in low xg created in away matches at 0.46-0.44-0.99-0.76 this season. They are dead last in the away standings and only scored once while they got 10 goals against. My lean in this match goes out to Charleroi and the La Louviere team total under but so far I was only willing to take 0.12 units on La Louviere Team Total under 0.75 @ 1.860. I kind of want Charleroi on the 1H -0.25 handicap at 1.80 or to take Charleroi on the FT handicap if they really show up. So I will leave those for in-game options.
