This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.
The results of week 9 also include 2 European Rounds and a Cup round and was red accross the board especially in the cup where I didn't manage to hit anything. It is a combination of an insane amount of goals that turned winners into losers in extra time, my focus not being 100% there as I'm probably a bit too distracted with the Crypto trenches, and the bad results crushing my confidence and also the enjoyment.
This all resulted in a -2.29 unit downswing which is extra frustrating sine I grinded so hard to get myself back in the green after a poor start of the season and it feels like I have to start over again. I also withdrew some of my balance on Sportmarket Pro for everyday expenses which makes the gap narrower even though I can still easily keep betting everything that I want even if I increased my stakes quite a bit.
If anything all of this is business as usual and I had many of these frustrating times in the past which all were overcome. While everything in me shouts to go chase and increase my stake to quickly earn back what I lost, my experience just takes it slow and scales things down a bit. The reality remains that the edge is quite small and it has become super hard to beat these markets.
Right now the main goal is to find my focus and my joy back and if anything the frustration of being down wanting to do better usually works which is why the best times usually come right after bad times. So I look forward to the coming weekend where more matches will be played and a better flow to return instead of the recent 3 week break followed by a cup weekend.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2026-2027
The one I was closest to making an official bet was La Louviere at home as the underdog who ended up as an easy deserved outright winner but I simply didn't have the confidence. So no highlighted bets last weekend.

Pretty much the worst case scenario in the past couple of weeks breaking back to the downside and I really hope that I bounce back up from here on out and not continue this poor streak to reach new lows. In the end right now, I'm only down 1.6 units which should not be too hard to overcome.
