This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.
Week 8 was a bit tricky as there have been 2 weekends when the league was on an international break. This created a question what teams actually managed to improve and if others who where on a good streak saw it broken.
This kind of made me insecure, and I failed to pull any triggers while most of the things I had in mind turned out to be quite ok. This mainly translated in not too many pre-game bets as I wanted to see how things played out first. Mainly thanks to the last couple matches, I still managed to finish the week positve with +0.562 units of profit.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2026-2027
I had one that came close to being an official pre-game bet wut ended up skipping only because it was a play against a line movement which I have too much PTSD from as those systematically tend to be trouble. However, this week kind of gave me confidence, so I expect more highlighted bets going forward.

2026-2027 Season Chart
Just like that, I'm now back in the green and getting closer to the pink expected profit line with good hoped going forward. At the same time sitting at +1.68%, it remains just a very marginal edge, and for it to be worth it financially, my stakes would have to be quite a bit higher. Regardless, betting profit even at these ROI levels continues to cover a lot of my everyday smaller costs like gas or partial travel and groceries, which is more than enough for me. The days when I aimed to get rich from Sports Betting and where the sky was the limit are kind of long over as it's just really hard to beat the market enough at least with my skill level.
