La verdad es que estoy muy concentrada en mi vida diaria haciendo de todo un poco y bueno, buscando dinerito de otras formas más allá del mundo digital. En estos días he tejido variadito, sigo sin tener muchas ventas, pero eso no me detiene ☺️ tejer 🧶 es una terapia que me aparta por un rato de mi a veces, muy caótica vida. No he podido llevar a mi hijo a terapias, se me complica mucho porque somos solo él y yo en la casa 🏠, yo sola sustentando nuestras vidas, en fin.

The truth is, I’m really focused on my daily life—doing a little bit of everything—and, well, trying to make some money in ways other than the digital world. Lately I’ve been knitting a variety of things; I still haven’t had many sales, but that doesn’t stop me ☺️. Knitting 🧶 is therapeutic—it takes me away for a while from my sometimes very chaotic life. I haven’t been able to take my son to his therapy sessions; it’s really hard for me because it’s just him and me at home 🏠, and I’m the only one supporting us both—anyway.
Les cuento que he recibido un segundo lote de hilos importados de México. La amiga que viaja me trajo otros ovillos, a cambio debo tejerle un topo 🐭 mexicano. Ella me mandó una referencia que hizo con la ayuda de la inteligencia artificial. Me he arriesgado y le he dicho que sí. La vez pasada me pidió un colombiano con su acordeón y se lo hice. A ella le encantó. Yo no soy profesional, me siento aún amateur, pero quiero aprender haciendo 😂. Ahora tengo un poco más de experiencia. Con los hilos que me trajo la vez pasada tejí estas bellas Hello Kitty 🥰. Hace una semana una chica me contactó por X y me compró a modo de donación para Ale, las dos muñecas. Elegí a las niñas que van a recibirlas y estoy esperando que pasen por ellas.
I wanted to let you know that I’ve received a second batch of yarn imported from Mexico. My friend who’s traveling brought me some more skeins, and in exchange, I have to knit her a Mexican mole 🐭. She sent me a reference she made with the help of artificial intelligence. I took a chance and said yes. Last time, she asked me for a Colombian design featuring an accordion, and I made it for her. She loved it. I’m not a professional—I still feel like an amateur—but I want to learn by doing 😂. Now I have a little more experience. With the yarn she brought me last time, I knitted these beautiful Hello Kitty dolls 🥰. A week ago, a girl contacted me on X and bought both dolls as a donation for Ale. I chose the girls who will receive them, and I’m waiting for them to come pick them up.
Además de las Kitty también tejí esta linda Candy. Me siento súper contenta tejiendo con hilos más suaves que el pabilo. Si no sabes de qué hilo te hablo, te explico 😌 estoy tejiendo con hilos La Abuelita, me lo traen de México. He ido pidiendo de a poquito ya que son costosos para mí.

Mi hermana me ha estado ayudando a promocionar mis tejidos y el mes de agosto fue el mejor mes del año en ventas, hice un total de 46$ vendiendo llaveros y alguno que otro pedido. Uno de los que más me encantó hacer han sido este set de lazos escolares para maestras. Los tejí sin patrón, tomé notas de las medidas por si me encargan otros. Gracias a Dios en la ciudad donde vivo no han habido más cortes de luz programados y eso me ayuda a avanzar. Dedico el 70% del día a mi hijo, 20% a los quehaceres y 10% al tejido.
My sister has been helping me promote my crochet projects, and August was the best month of the year for sales—I made a total of $46 selling keychains and a few other orders. One of my favorite projects to make was this set of school bows for teachers. I crocheted them without a pattern, but I took notes on the measurements in case I get more orders. Thank God there haven’t been any more scheduled power outages in the city where I live, and that helps me keep moving forward. I devote 70% of my day to my son, 20% to chores, and 10% to knitting.
