ENGLISH

Hello Hive friends,

This time, I’m bringing you a compilation video featuring 13 games released last week (Week 38).

I’ve been testing this video format for exactly a month now; by my standards, view counts have been low, but I’m still hopeful about YouTube. As you can see in the image below, my most successful video so far has had 16 views—a very different contrast to the Shorts I post, which have performed much better.

About the Video

This compilation covers a wide range of titles—from a game strongly resemble of John Wick and a survival horror game featuring dogs, to trading card shop simulators.

I’d really appreciate it if you hit PLAY on the video while I tell you about three of the games featured in it.

The first game is called BLACKWOOD

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3639070/BLACKWOOD/ In this game, we play as Anton Blackwood. By day, he runs a DVD rental shop, but by night, he’s a hitman. The gameplay—specifically the dynamic action and movement used to take out enemies—strongly evokes the John Wick movies. It features shop-simulation mechanics where you have to acquire specific items to sell, and it also includes customization options for the weapons you carry on your "little jobs."

The second game is called Aniimo

aniimo2.jpg

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4126040/Aniimo/ This game promises to be the definitive title that could dethrone Pokémon, especially after the latter's recent poorly received releases. In Aniimo, you venture into the continent of Idyle (the name reminded me of "Idle" mobile games), home to creatures known as Aniimo—creatures whose origins, according to the game, are a complete mystery. The interesting twist is that you can "merge" with the Aniimo to control them, allowing you to battle against other, more powerful Aniimo.

I did a livestream of this game HERE.

And the third game is called RIG Riot

image.png

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3180340/RIG_Riot/ This is a mech game very much in the style of Armored Core, but without the Souls-like elements; instead, it offers more dynamic gameplay with "roguelite" mechanics with an extraction-style format. It’s a very entertaining game, though I struggled to fully grasp it while playing; the interface is quite clunky and visually tedious. But overall, the "game loop" is solid, and it can keep you hooked for hours before you get tired of it.

I'm planning to upload a mini-review I'm currently working on, stay tuned.

I hope you enjoy this compilation video; I looked at over 50 games and picked out these 13. There were a few others I could have included, but since I was running out of weekend time, I decided to stick with just 13 games.

Any feedback is welcome.
