My brother's kuliglig and I cook sardines with egg for breakfast. Morning in the field. 🏕️

Some rice fields have already been harvested, while others are still in the process. Farmers have already begun tilling the soil in harvested fields with a kuliglig or hand tractor. My sibling is among them, and his rice field is just outside our house. They only started using the hand tractor yesterday.

The weather today is unpredictable it rained earlier this morning, but then the sun came out after. The rain is actually quite favorable for farmers right now, as it allows them to start preparing their rice fields for planting much like what my siblings is doing. In fact, it's not just my sibling using a hand tractor; other farmers are doing the same, so I'll be hearing the noise of hand tractors every single day again, haha.

After my child and I woke up, I stepped outside the house. It was the perfect time the sun wasn't too hot yet and as Peggy mom, I need to walk around a bit to get some exercise and let my skin soak up some Sunsray.😅

I saw a Carabao in the rice field, and it was accompanied by a white bird.

It's time to cook breakfast. I'm preparing sardines and eggs. Do you cook this too? It's one of the easiest dishes to make, especially in the morning. I just sliced some garlic and onions and sautéed them in a pan, then added the sardines. Once it starts to boil, you can crack the egg and put it in the pan. Then just wait 1-2 minutes, and it's ready to serve!

I only used one egg, because I'm going to make sunny side up the remaining two eggs. One for me and one for my husband hehe

My husband helped harvest the remaining rice in my father's field the portion that the harvester had missed because the stalks were still green. That is what they are harvesting today, and tomorrow, they will thresh it using their feet.

My brother has finished tilling some of the rice paddies, he came over here after feeding his carabao. My son really enjoys watching him, though he's also a bit scared of the sound the hand tractor makes. I've also noticed that whenever my brother uses the hand tractor, many birds fly around him. Sometimes many small black birds but today it's color white bird we call it tulabong this has always been the case, and it happens with others, too. Perhaps there's plenty of food for them to peck when the rice paddies are being filled. What do you think?

That's all for today, I just want to say Thank you for reading and supporting my post. Peace and Love ✨🫰🏻

Your place is so beautiful, At least your brother’s rice field is just nearby, so you don’t have to travel far to get there. And the sardines you’re preparing look so delicious, especially with egg mixed in and sautéed together. I swear, Ma’am, I can almost smell the delicious aroma of those sardines from here😄. Ewan ko ba basta sardines na ganyan pagka luto daming kain ma ubos ko😄

I can relate in your story! I miss our palayan, I know how much effort na binibigay ng iyong Kapatid sa field. Pagod, pawis at sakripisyo. Sana maging swerti ito na cropping. 🌿
