LEARN AND EARN - our project.hope new awesome initiative

INTRODUCTION

There is one awesome thing that I've learned while managing project.hope community within these past few months. Many people out there have amazing ideas on "how to stimulate engagement" and all they need to proceed with are proper tools and little bit of support. Just enough to give those ideas a kick head-start.

And today I would like to introduce you to one hell of a great initiative. So stay tuned and don't you dare close this publication yet :)

LEARN AND EARN

One such an idea was born during a few recent conversations I had with someone I've known for very long - user named @hardaeborla, which many of us surely recognize by now.

We've imagined this new initiative, which could potentially bring more traffic to our community, allow people to expand their knowledge and share experiences with one another. And to be rewarded for their valuable participation.

We had a vision, that every week or two we could publish new topics and we would ask readers to do some research about the subcject and expand their current knowledge. Later each user would write a comment explaining what they have learned. And all most valuable comments would receive min 100k SP upvote.

What those topics would be about?

It could be questions related to blockchain: what is smart contract, what is bitcoin halving, how do you understand Proof of Work (PoW)
or perhaps something closer to economy and business: "what is quantitive easing, what is deflation and inflation, etc"

And finally, we came up with an idea to launch a new series: "LEARN AND EARN".

We both figured that this name would reflect our goals very well.

WHO DO WE AIM

Our "LEARN AND EARN" series will be focused on several closely related topics:

technology,
blockchain,
artificial intelligence
machine learning
economy,
business,
marketing ,
psychology

OUR FIRST ATTEMPT

Together with @hardaeborla we've managed to discuss this idea and post our first challenge. Check it out right away: LEARN AND EARN challenge - what is bitcoin halving.

It will be fair to say, that it's only up to all of you guys if there will be more similar challenges in the future. I hope to be able to read many valuable and engaging comments.

Congratulations to you and @hardaeborla for this initiative. Project HOPE with this type of initiative definitely promotes users to create good content .

In particular, I believe that a good commentary is based on respect for the owner of the publication, followed by the contribution that can be given to such work to enrich and/or promote the debate of the readers of the publication.

I always believe that we must not learn just for the sake of improving of our knowledge but also to develop our understanding about some matter which can add values to our life.But we often don't like to allocate a little time for learning rather we like to watch a YouTube videos,spend time on facebook or some other activities which doesn't add anything to our life other than killing our time.

With this kind of initiative people will be more interested to change that kind of habit as it will lure out many people to learn and share their knowledge with the other.

This is super cool, we need something like this.

I actually see lot of good posts on topics related to economy, business and crypto and definitely something to learn from them all.

What I love about writing, is sharing my knowledge and it's mostly for free, great to be rewarded.

Plus, community participation encouraging them is important, rather than people writting to earn upvotes.

This is definitely a nice initiative.

I am bazzled by so much happening in crypto and blockchain space - there DEFI, and so many things that can't understand, especially smart contract, ways to earn passive income, identifying good project (basics), particularly how blockchain revolutionises whole system - insurance, banking etc etc...

this can only be learned through experience slowly, just like how we learned about crypto through being in the space, or learned about some basic trading technical analysis by practice and seeing other videos by crypto guys etc... its nice. To earn anything, we need to take baby steps and this initiative is good that way.

hello again, it will be a good idea to start a fresh topic, a new approach, a more collaborative and engaging way to promote and illicit quality content among community members. though from the post, the exact mechanism on how to do this is not yet clear. let me guess, it will be a comment based post. A question is posted, with a small detail ,then the community will answer in a more scholastic approach, meaning well referenced, with good structural ideas...

...something like that...

Not sure why would you tag steem but ok. Start with sharing it on twitter while providing incentives to those who has the best analitics in terms of viewers and engagement. After all we are trying to reach people outside this so called ecosystem

I can answer to all of that questions... but I will reserve myself to correcting others... making the least value and effort on my contribution. I want masses to contribute first as they have a bigger deal to learn.

I think it is a good initiative. I’ve read some comments recently on Hive that could even do well as a standalone post. It could help to bring traction to the Project Hope community, and Hive at large. However, I think you have to also be careful as some individuals may want to hijack the good intentions. Well, I’d be here to contribute as well.

It would really be a good initiative to keep everyone engaged. But why only blockchain??

I think any topics related to technology can be posted and users should try to get enough and in depth research on the topic before submitting their comment.
