I used to do HIVE related growth posts regularly and I need to keep reminding myself to do at least one per month. I think we all need some type of encouragement to keep on showing up each day and when you see the growth continuously happening it does justify the hours we spend here. Not only is HIVE a fun place, but it has offered so much more making me grow as a person.
Your thought patterns do change along with a noticeable improvement in your problem solving skills which I put down to being active on HIVE. When you write things down or in this case type them out you see things far clearer and a problem can be solved within a few hours. HIVE is far more than just a social blockchain and in my case has been used as a real life growth development tool.
Yesterday my HIVE Power moved over 240K and looking at the chart @seattlea sent me a couple of weeks ago it reminded me of the early day struggles. Those days you will never forget having started back in March 2018 having no idea what I had just signed up to. There was zero expectations as I had no knowledge of what HIVE was and literally stumbled upon this place. Having no expectations meant I could take my time and learn how HIVE worked and understand where the HIVE tokens and rewards are produced.
I think we are all doomed in a good way because once you have been active here for 6 months you are here for life whether you like to admit this to yourself or not this is true. HIVE is your home base online and a place to hide away getting some you time away from the hustle and bustle of the real world.
The madness is I hated to write yet here I am using it as a type of therapeutic reflection type of way that has a calming influence over the mind and body. Being able to share real things that are going on in your life is what makes reading all the other posts that interesting as everyone has their stories to share and tell. For myself I find this part fascinating as we all live in different parts of the world and what maybe boring and mundane for yourself is not so for others.
I know living in South Africa we have so much to write on as this place is not what I would call normal and is a bit rough and ready compared to the western world. Crime in a country that has a thumb suck guesstimate of 60% unemployment will always be a concern and something that keeps me vigilant and on my toes. When you travel to other countries around the world having lived here you are that much more aware of your surroundings and is what sets us apart in how we do everyday things.
See how quickly it is to digress from the original topic which was HIVE but this is all relative to who we are and how we communicate on here and that is just being yourself. There is no fakeness because over any length of time that would be impossible to maintain and definitely not enjoyable.
HIVE growth becomes easier over time as the stake accumulates and compounds and more importantly as your connections with members of the community grows. Over the last 8 and a bit years and will be 9 years in March I have got to know so many wonderful people who are all very different and that is what makes being part of HIVE special. Who knows I will be staring at 250K Hive Power before Christmas which is kind of mad to think that we can all grow and achieve these crazy types of numbers.
