Today, we conducted a coastal clean up and it is part of our Weekly community service here. The cleaning schedule is always Sunday and expected to have lots of trash to clean. Along with my Mother, we went to the place at exactly 7 in the morning. It is better to be at the place every morning so we can avoided extreme heat from the sun. Working outside early in the morning makes us still enjoyable because the place is cool. All of us women and also men wants the place and the environment always clean, this is a big part for us here in the environment. Aside of the reason why I really want to be here is to see the wonderful views and to visit the coast again. This is what I always like because it keeps myself peaceful and calm everytime when I visited here.
This is the place we want to clean as part of the community service we will do. This is the the area where our Purok leader assigned us, and as we reached the place it was full of trash scattered at the road. It was very early morning when we arrived at the place, we take for a minute rest before starting cleaning the road side. Even in a simple way, it gives a big good impact to environment and to help the place clean.
Along with my Mother, we started to clean after a minute rest. I am very happy doing this work because our Environment needs us to take care just like cleaning. It can also have a wonderful and relaxing views and aside of that people who came from far places will be very amazed if they sees how clean the place is. I really enjoyed the cool and quite atmosphere while doing our tasks and moment later other members also came at the place bringing broomsticks and other cleaning materials. We also separated the plastic from dry leaves so we can do proper segregation before putting in the sack so garbage collector can easily collected it.
It takes almost an hour of doing our tasks and obligations and after that we decided to went at the meeting place so we can write our name and signature as part of the attendance before going back home.
But before we went back home, my Mother told me to stopped by at the shore for searching any trash that can be recycled. I felt very sad looking this place because of too lots of trash scattered because of the past big and rough waves but our Purok leader said that this will be our second big cleaning activities by next day. We went here just to collected lots of trash that can be sell and recycled, my Elder Sister also goes at the place and she take us a picture while looking for any trash. Our plan for this is to recycled and sell to the junk shop so we can earned money for our Daily needs. Gladly we brought empty big sacks and we can carried lots of trash inside of the sack we brought.
Even I felt really tired, I still kept myself enjoyable by taking pose photos here in this two coconut trees. I am not fun taking a pose pictures but I tried my best to do it it even in a simple pose and gladly as I saw the photos taken from my Elder Sister it is very unique. Seeing lots of trash makes me really stress and sad but a great solutions has already implemented and by next day a great cleaning activities will be done. This community service is always do weekly and Mother Nature will be happy for us being responsible in our Environment. Until next post, have a nice day to all of us.
