El enorme escenario estaba totalmente listo para que comience la batalla, las plataformas, los caminos estrechos, las luces, todo comenzó a moverse, donde los tres niños nada más se miraban. El abuelo seguía en las gradas y comentó —Esto no parece un simple desafío de habilidad— hasta que en pantalla aprecio PRIMER DESAFÍO: HABILIDAD, además cada equipo deberá completar un recorrido y conseguir seis emblemas, es decir una por persona.
De inmediato los treinta participantes se preparan y siguieron explicando las demás reglas —Existe una condición y es que el emblema solo podrán obtenerse superando pruebas individuales dentro del recorrido. Charlie miró hacia sus compañeros y comentó —es importante que ninguno se quede atrás, hay que conseguir ese emblema— de inmediato comenzó el desafío y todos comenzaron a correr, Charlie parecía superar cada obstáculo con mucha facilidad, mientras que los demás de su grupo tomaron otro camino, ya que estaba diseñado para eso. Luego de avanzar Charlie llegó a una torre donde encontró una pequeña plataforma con seis botones y encima de ellos aparecieron símbolos musicales, donde con su banjo tocó las notas y con eso logró tomar su emblema como recompensa.
The massive arena was fully prepared for the battle to begin; platforms, narrow walkways, and lights all began to shift into motion as the three children simply looked at one another. The grandfather, watching from the stands, remarked, "This doesn't look like a simple test of skill"—just as the screen displayed: FIRST CHALLENGE: SKILL. Furthermore, each team was required to complete a course and collect six emblems—one for each person.
The thirty participants immediately prepared themselves as the remaining rules were explained: "There is a condition: the emblems can only be obtained by passing individual tests along the course." Charlie glanced at his teammates and said, "It's important that no one gets left behind; we have to get that emblem." The challenge began instantly, and everyone started running; Charlie seemed to clear every obstacle with great ease, while the others in his group took a different path—as the course was designed to allow for this. Moving forward, Charlie reached a tower where he found a small platform with six buttons; musical symbols appeared above them, and by playing the corresponding notes on his banjo, he succeeded in claiming his emblem as a reward.

Por otro lado, estaba Lucas y Sofía quienes salieron juntos, pero llegó un obstáculo donde apareció una pared y se separaron, ambos se gritaban, aun así Lucas continuó, puesto que los demás integrantes de su equipo no se estaban ayudando y solamente en busca de ese emblema. Lucas comprendió que la competencia dentro del equipo había comenzado y Sofía tenía que buscar las maneras de avanzar, intento saltar pero en ese momento se cayó y justo apareció Lucas para darle una mano y allí la voz señaló —LOS PARTICIPANTES NO PUEDEN AYUDARSE ENTRE SÍ— Lucas se puso triste, porque ya no era una competencia por equipos, sino contra sus propios compañeros.
Charlie continuó avanzando, hasta llegar a una torre y allí estaba una de sus compañeras de grupo, por eso les tocó correr para ver quién llega primero, sin embargo, su compañera se cayó, pero volvió a aparecer la misma voz indicando que no se podían ayudar. Luego de todo eso las luces se apagaron, ya que se presentó una falla y de inmediato cambio todo, donde indicaron que el emblema individuales dejarán de tener valor, todos se miraron y se preguntaron —¿Entonces para qué estamos compitiendo?—La respuesta tardó unos segundos —Porque ahora deberán decidir qué hacer con los emblemas que ya consiguieron— Charlie miró su emblema, puesto que algo acababa de cambiar y ninguno de ellos sabía todavía que aquella nueva regla no solo podía cambiar el resultado del desafío, ya que también podía obligarlos a elegir entre ganar y proteger a sus amigos.
However, Charlie had to press on; his group was nowhere to be found, and in that moment, he realized something: the "team" was merely a name, for in reality, they were competing against one another. Meanwhile, Lucas and Sofía had started out together, but they were separated by an obstacle—a wall—and began shouting to each other. Lucas pushed forward, seeing that the other team members weren't helping one another and were solely focused on securing the emblem. He understood that the competition within the team had begun. Sofía tried to find a way forward; she attempted to jump but fell, and just as Lucas appeared to lend a hand, a voice announced: "PARTICIPANTS CANNOT HELP EACH OTHER." Lucas was disheartened, realizing it was no longer a team competition, but a battle against his own teammates.
Charlie continued moving forward until he reached a tower where one of his teammates was waiting; they raced to see who would arrive first. His teammate fell, but the same voice reappeared, reiterating that they could not help one another. Suddenly, the lights went out due to a malfunction, and the situation shifted instantly: they were told that the individual emblems would no longer hold any value. Everyone looked at one another, wondering, "Then what are we competing for?" The answer came a few seconds later: "Because now you must decide what to do with the emblems you have already collected." Charlie looked at his emblem; something had changed, and none of them yet knew that this new rule could not only alter the challenge's outcome but also force them to choose between winning and protecting their friends.
