Por eso se estrenó La casa en el árbol (2025), la cual es una película que ha dado mucho de que hablar y combina suspenso, misterio y una historia marcada por el dolor y la necesidad de descubrir la verdad, por lo tanto, aquí una mujer todavía piensa en la misteriosa muerte de su pareja quien falleció tras caer de una cabaña situada en lo alto de un árbol, así que será toda una aventura que hará que cada segundo de la película sea cada vez más extraño.
Since it’s a horror movie, right from the start you get that feeling that something is about to happen or that something doesn’t quite fit into the plot—which keeps us engaged—and the setting also adds that special touch to the film, with the forest, the isolation, and that treehouse, all of which have an unsettling quality of their own. The film maintains that pace and helps the viewer feel fear—the sense that, if you were actually there, you might think differently, but that one wrong move could complicate everything. This leads us to ask: What really happened? Will this woman be able to uncover the truth? And many other questions that make the whole experience very thrilling.
This film follows the same format as every other movie in this genre, but beyond that, you can also sense a story of grief, obsession, and secrets, as it attempts to heal a wound by blending psychological elements with horror. This is where the actress carries much of the story’s weight and helps create those uncomfortable moments, full of tension and decisive choices; however, the film falls short in its attempt to blend different forms of horror, features moments that are highly predictable, and suffers from a pace that has certain ups and downs, which detract from the overall experience.
La película al ser de terror, desde el principio se puede sentir esa sensación de que algo va a ocurrir o algo no encaja en la trama, la cual nos lleva a seguir disfrutando, como también la ambientación le da ese toque especial a la película utilizando un bosque, la soledad y esa casa en árbol que tienen algo inquietante por sí mismos. La película mantiene ese ritmo y ayuda a que uno como espectador puede sentir miedo, de que seguramente al estar allí uno podría pensar distinto, pero que un mal movimiento hace que todo se complique y eso nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Qué ocurrió realmente? ¿Podrá esta mujer saber la verdad? Y muchas otras cosas que hace que todo sea muy emocionante.
Esta tiene el mismo formato de cada una de las películas de este género, pero más allá de eso también se puede notar una historia de duelo, obsesión y secretos, mientras que se intenta cerrar una herida usando la parte psicológica con el terror. Es aquí donde la actriz carga con gran parte del peso de la historia y contribuye a construir esos momentos incómodos, llenos de tensión y decisión, sin embargo, falla en querer combinar distintas formas de terror, momentos que son muy predecibles y el ritmo presenta ciertos altibajos que restan fuerza a la experiencia.
I liked the outcome of this movie, The Treehouse, because it offers a different take on the horror genre by blending mystery, trauma, and violence—making it perfect for fans of the genre. You’re sure to get a few scares and be inspired to think differently, as the past hides more than meets the eye and the characters must confront their own demons. That’s why, in this life, there are places we should never return to and secrets that might be better left undiscovered.
Me gusto el resultado de esta película La casa en el árbol, ya que es una apuesta distinta del género de terror, al mezclar misterio, trauma y violencia siendo perfectamente para quienes le gusta este géneros, donde seguramente podrás llevarte algunos sustos y pensar de otra manera, cuando el pasado esconde más de lo que parece y los personajes tienen que enfrentarse a sus propios demonios. Por eso en esta vida hay lugares a los que nunca deberíamos regresar y secretos que quizá sería mejor no descubrir.
