Changing To Bracket IV ~ My New Journey Starts Again

Greetings Summoners

We have arrived at the end of the season, or we could say that we just arrived at the beginning of a new season lol... whatever you see it, today is a great day for all of us, the Splinterlands players. End of seasons means the beginning of the new season, and what we have been waiting for.... the rewards!

This is what my landing page of the season end. Overall it was not a bad one but I was quite disappointed with it. My winrate drops below 55%, I know this is normal regarding I was fighting for Division 2 last season, however the number of battles shows that I have missed quite a lot of time to play last.

Ok the most important one, I only got 370 SPS. In the previous season, I got 352 SPS. So it did not have any significant difference. I felt like I just hit the ceiling of my performance.

Last season itself was not a bad one for me. I got 486.256 GLINT right? Glint - wise, it was 50% higher than what I got from previous season. So I had a conclusion that if I did not change bracket, my SPS would be the same.

I dared myself to make a big change this season. I am going to change bracket, starting by resetting my bracket here... All is for the sake of getting more SPS lol

Anyway picking a bracket is no longer like opening a blind box, or getting a pig in a poke. We can see what is in the bracket, I mean for the SPS rewards. Bracket III or Silver modern only has 69.447 SPS for all players there, which is around 6% of the total SPS rewards of all brackets.

I am moving to bracket IV now, the gold modern. This bracket SPS rewards is around 12% of the total pool, or around 138.894 SPS. I doubt this number would change, but the precision might be an issue too, so expect a small difference from what we will calculate from those numbers.

So my goal is simple, I am moving to a bracket that has twice amound of SPS rewards. It is rational to aim 700 SPS as my seasonal SPS rewards for this season. So what do you think, is this a smart move or a reckless one? One thing for sure, I am not in the same bracket as @zusi78 anymore... maybe I am in the same bracket with @atnazo ?

Anyway I have started the bracket IV Gold Modern format and I have reached the Division 8. The loot chests are more than what we get from bracket III but with these loot chests... I could not expect anything great, so let me skip the result here. They are not worth of your time.

    Another thing to pay that much for whole bracket there need to be at least enough players just look at note. Last season there were less than 200 players in gold bracket to pay max rewards it need to be at least 300 active players.

    I had 3% of total bracket pool in last season and I got less than I expected becuase of less players in gold bracket :D

    Nice update my warrior friend. I would still hold on to bracket III for the now.

    For your choice (bracket IV),if you have the card,it is a wise decision. For me, I don't have the cards to compete. I wish you good luck 🤞.
