Captured Momments at the Traditional Market 📷 Monomad Challenge

The market feels quiet on the workdays, as many people are away at work or occupied with other daily routines. This morning, I am sitting in a corner of the downtown morning market, observing the unfolding activity.

I am drawn to the moments playing out so authentically right before my eyes. After watching for a while, I feel it would be a shame to let these scenes simply slip away uncaptured. I slowly open the camera bag I always carry; I need to find a somewhat secluded spot so I can capture these moments without drawing attention or making people feel uncomfortable.

As is often the case in our area, people still seem awkward around cameras; the words "Don't take my picture" might well escape their lips if they realize a lens is pointed their way. Naturally, that makes me feel a bit uneasy about carrying a camera around the traditional market 😇.
