Tribute to my Dad, Five Years Gone

I lost my dad five years ago today. Damn, it's hard to believe it has been that long since I saw his face, got a squeezy hug, or heard him say Love you Lipoop! Yeah, he was silly :0)

I was thinking about what I could do as a tribute and decided to go with a montage of two of his favorite movies- the Sister Acts.

It made him laugh and cry, yes cry, he had a musical soul and a poets heart...

...to go with his gift of painting and drawing.

(A couple of my favorite drawing/paintings of his)

Your Father was a very talented artist! Birthdays and holidays are still difficult. It was just two years ago that I lost my Dad. Do you dream about yours often? I didn't at first but I have been dreaming of him a lot in the last year. I hope you and the family had a wonderful Christmas!

He was a talented man, and clearly an important influence on your life. He continues to live on through you. He did well. 😊

Good old Dads. It seems like they are eternal then boom, they are gone.

This is a lovely tribute. They truly live on in our thoughts, deeds and memories :0)
