HALLO,HIVE!
Right by the entrance to the café’s veranda, there are a few tables set up on the sand. Burying your bare feet in the warm sand while watching the sunset is priceless! I used to think the trend of checkered tablecloths in Goa was sacrosanct—you see them in every café here!
But on our next visit, the tablecloths had been swapped... hmm... for a different kind of makeshift check pattern. By the way, aside from the delicious food, the café won us over with its friendly waiters and decent service. Indian waiters are often a bit sluggish; you might sit waiting 10 or 20 minutes just for someone to lazily bring you a menu. Here, however, the service was impeccable! It was a similar story at Agonda Beach: the waiters from Nepal moved like lightning, whereas the local Indian staff were somewhat lazy—sometimes taking 20 minutes to bring drinks even when the place was empty. Then again, we were on vacation and in no rush to go anywhere!
I ordered a mango cocktail, and Cthulhu swiped it. But, well... if you know, you know.
Our table was also frequently "serviced" by a dog that had clearly been conditioned to expect handouts. It was obviously the illicit offspring of a pit bull. The little guy would huddle in the corner, wondering if there were any spare bones for him. What, no bones?! Well, don't just sit there—order the tandoori chicken! That’s how they’d hustle us into ordering chicken. Anyway, I’ll talk about the actual food at "Eddy’s Place" next time.

Was heißt hier nein?!
