Monomad Challenge / Claroscuro del alma [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos || Hello friends

Hay momentos que nos despertamos e iniciamos nuestra jornada del día un poco desanimados, cansados del camino que en ocasiones se torna bastante pesada tanto que parecer perder sus colores y nos encontramos enfrentándonos con momentos difíciles donde la sombres y el andar se percibe denso y me ha gustado mucho este arte de la fotografía en blanco y negro porque nos enseña algo muy valioso, nos invita a despojarnos de las distracciones y a mirar lo esencial. Y así como debemos ver esos días grises.

There are times when we wake up and start our day feeling a little down, weary of the journey that sometimes becomes so gruelling it seems to lose its colour, and we find ourselves facing difficult moments where the shadows and the path ahead feel oppressive. I’ve really come to love this art of black-and-white photography because it teaches us something very valuable; it invites us to shed our distractions and focus on what really matters. And that is exactly how we should view those grey days.

Por supuesto que la vida puede ponerse dura y en el intento podamos perder el aliento o la misma motivación pero es que siempre habrá un destello de luz que nos ayude a escapar de las sombras y aferrarnos nuevamente a lo esencial: nuestras metas, la familia, la pasión, y la fe de que un nuevo día trae consigo nuevas oportunidad. Ese es mi forma de pensar y me ayuda mucho a salir de esos momentos difíciles que nos vuelve frágil en un segundo.

Of course, life can get tough, and in the process we may lose our breath or even our motivation, but there will always be a glimmer of light to help us escape the shadows and hold on once more to what really matters: our goals, our family, our passion, and the belief that a new day brings with it new opportunities. That’s how I see it, and it really helps me get through those difficult moments that can make us feel fragile in an instant.

Hoy fue un día de esos donde el levantarse me molestaba, que la carga estaba más pesada que ayer, que tomar café me lo cuestiono, pero volteo para mirar atrás y veo todo lo que he logrado aun cuando hay días como el de hoy tengo una hermosa familia, buenos amigos, salud y mi guitarra. Entonces sí, definitivamente hay día de días. Por eso me ha gustado mucho la fotografía en blanco y negro porque nos invita a despojarnos de cualquier distracción y mirar justo lo que queremos admirar. Bueno, no sé si me logro hacer entender, espero que sí. Les dejo esta nueva sección de fotos en blanco y negro.

Today was one of those days when I didn’t fancy getting up, when the burden felt heavier than yesterday, when I even questioned whether to have a coffee, but I look back and see everything I’ve achieved even on days like today I have a lovely family, good friends, good health and my guitar. So yes, there definitely are days like this. That’s why I’ve really come to love black-and-white photography because it invites us to strip away any distractions and focus on exactly what we want to admire. Well, I’m not sure if I’ve managed to make myself clear, but I hope so. Here’s this new selection of black-and-white photos.
