Watching Thor: The Dark World again, I have mixed feelings. I really enjoy exploring more of Asgard and seeing Thor face a threat that goes beyond Earth. The visual effects and action sequences are impressive, but I feel the story never reaches its full potential.

For me, Loki completely steals the movie. Tom Hiddleston brings the perfect combination of sarcasm, sadness and unpredictability. I especially love the moments when Thor and Loki are forced to work together. Their complicated relationship is much more interesting than the main villain.

I also think Frigga's death is one of the most emotional moments in the film. Unfortunately, Malekith never feels threatening enough to carry the entire story. The final battle is entertaining, but I was honestly more invested in the family drama than in the fate of the universe.
También creo que la muerte de Frigga es uno de los momentos más emotivos de la película. Desafortunadamente, Malekith nunca resulta lo suficientemente amenazante como para sostener toda la historia. Thor: The Dark World isn't a bad movie, but I consider it one of the weaker entries in the early MCU. Loki, the emotional moments and the beautiful world of Asgard make it worth watching, even if the story could have been much better.
