Hello friends of Hive, welcome to the Scrobble.life community. Today I want to share a movie review on this movie titled Like Father Like Daughter. This movie was very interesting, and the movie is about a father and his daughter who are both dramatic in their own ways. The father had a daughter that he abandoned because he mistakenly got a lady pregnant, but he didn't really love the lady. So he ran away and left the lady to take care of their daughter. He actually even forgot that he had a daughter because he and the lady had separated and started living their own lives, while the mother was the one taking care of their daughter.
The mother of the little girl wanted to get married to someone else, and she said she didn't want her daughter to stay with her because she was too troublesome. So she wanted her to stay with her biological father. This was how it got to the point where the mother gave the little girl some money and gave her directions to go to her biological dad's place.
The father was having a girlfriend who had been eating his money. That girlfriend was just so wicked because she didn't really love him at all. All her plans were to eat his money and ruin his life. He genuinely loved her, but she didn't use to pay him back with the same love. Immediately when the father arrived home with his girlfriend, he saw the little girl and she told him that he was her father. At first, he denied that she was his daughter and said that he would send her back to wherever she was coming from.
The daughter didn't have anything else to do than to lie to her dad that she got a scholarship and they would be giving her 10 million naira because of the debate competition they had in school. Immediately the dad heard this, he accepted her as his daughter just because he heard about the 10 million. He even started taking good care of her, giving her good food, and asking her when they were going to go to the school to collect the 10 million together. They fixed a day to go.
The funniest part was that he even went to sew new clothes for himself and his daughter that they would wear when they went to collect the 10 million gift. The dad actually didn't know that his daughter was just fooling him. The dad and his daughter travelled for over 24 hours in a car just to go to her school, but the daughter kept giving him different directions. He became so tired to the point that he noticed she was lying to him. When they came back home, he told her that before he went out and came back, he didn't want to see her in his house anymore. The daughter begged him, but the dad refused.
The father's girlfriend was just so deceiving. She kept making him send her money regularly. He would go and hustle together with his daughter, but when this man came back home, he would send and give all the money to this wicked girlfriend who didn't even like him at all. He thought he was building a future with her, but he didn't know that he was digging his own grave. The daughter had advised her dad to stop sending her money, but the dad always quarrelled with her because he never understood that she was trying to tell him the truth about his girlfriend.
The daughter had always advised her dad to be very careful with his girlfriend. She told him that she saw her kissing another guy, but the dad never believed what his daughter was saying because he thought his daughter simply didn't like the lady.
But until this very day, the father was about to go to where his girlfriend worked, and he immediately saw his girlfriend with another man. He was absolutely shocked because he never imagined that she would cheat on him. But now he had seen it with his own eyes, and from there he remembered that what his daughter had been telling him was true. He confronted her, but the lady claimed to the other guy that she had never seen this man before. The father was absolutely surprised at how she could just deny him like that. He was very disappointed and shocked.
