My Inheritance is a movie full of laughter. I laughed throughout when watching this movie because both the girl and her uncle were just like comedians. That even made the movie more interesting and funny to me, so I want to talk about the movie and make a review on some parts that seem interesting to me.
My Inheritance is a movie about a little girl whose life is about to change without her even knowing what is about to happen. The little girl lives with her uncle because her parents are dead. Her uncle was a poor man, so he was working very hard to at least bring something little for them to eat at home. Sincerely, they had been struggling for food, especially the little girl. She always complained whenever she did not eat, and she was actually a big consumer of food.
There was a man who was very sick, and this man was a very rich man. When the man was about to die, he called his lawyer and told him to look for his daughter, Princess, whom he had abandoned, bring her home and also hand over all his property to her. This was what the rich man told his lawyer, and the lawyer promised to find her and bring her home so she could receive the property her father had promised her after he died.
The lawyer went through the address that the father gave him, and the address led him directly to the little girl. Immediately when the lawyer got there, he found out that she was a little girl. He asked her for her name and if she was Princess, and she replied yes. He told her everything the rich man had said before he died. She was actually shocked because her parents had died a very long time ago, but she had no choice but to accept the news because she heard that they were going to hand over all the property to her. That gave her joy, and she just assumed that the rich man was her father, even though she did not really know her parents because she was very little when they passed away. So the lawyer told her to go home and start getting ready because anytime soon he would come back and take her to her father's mansion.
Princess took this thing to another level. Since she had not gone to her father's mansion yet, she started going to the street collecting food, meat and different foodstuff from people, telling them that she was soon going to become a billionaire. She was requesting food from different stores on credit and telling them that immediately she got her inheritance, she would pay them double. This was how people started giving her things, and she collected different food from people without paying.
The uncle stepped inside and saw Princess eating chicken laps with different types of fruits. He was absolutely surprised because he knew that they had spent more than five years without eating such kind of food. He asked where she got them from, and she replied that she collected them on credit and that once she got her inheritance, she would pay them double. The uncle was surprised. Inheritance that she had not even seen yet, but she had already concluded? 😂 The uncle had no choice but to just look at the food. He did not even know how to start eating because he did not want his niece to think he was desperate to eat.
After the lawyer arrived, Princess decided to go together with her uncle so that he would be her backup if anything was about to happen. When Princess arrived at the house, the wife of the late rich man heard that Princess was his daughter and could not believe it. She said this could never be the chief's daughter. This small girl had a mouth like a parrot, and she was just aiming for the inheritance. The uncle was also standing up for her at that moment because he also wanted to have his own share once she got her property, so he was becoming her backup.
Princess and her uncle started living in the house. The children together with the mother of the late chief tried to make them leave the house, but unfortunately, it was not working because these two parrots would not allow anything to happen. Princess and her uncle were just waiting for the next day so that the lawyer would come and bring the results of the DNA test to confirm if Princess was really the child of the late chief. Princess was not even thinking that she might not be the child. Her only thought was the inheritance, and she was thinking that she was 100% sure of the result. The uncle was also just waiting for that moment so he could also get his share.
The next day arrived, but before the lawyer came, the real father of Princess, who had abandoned her when she was a child, came to meet Princess's mother and pleaded that he wanted to see his daughter Princess. This was how he started looking for Princess and also got directions to where Princess and her uncle were.
After the lawyer arrived and was about to read the DNA results, Princess and her uncle had already started imagining and thinking about the life they would start living because they thought everything was going to work out perfectly. But immediately when the lawyer wanted to read the result, the poor real parents of Princess suddenly arrived inside the house. The mother was saying, "Princess, my daughter, your father says he wants to see you. He missed you so much."
Immediately, Princess thought she was dreaming. She was absolutely shocked by this kind of bad luck that had just happened. She was saying, "Who are these poor people? Why are you trying to destroy my future?" 😂 And this was how the lawyer finally read the DNA test and found out that this little Princess was not the real daughter of the chief. This was how Princess and her uncle felt like they were just dreaming, but no, it was reality. Princess felt so worried. She even went outside without knowing what to do because all their plans had been destroyed. She started thinking about how she would pay all those people she collected food from on credit.
This movie was very funny and enjoyable to watch, and I really enjoyed every moment of it. The funniest part for me was that Princess was not even happy to finally see her real parents. Instead, she was regretting why they came into her life because the beautiful future she had already imagined was suddenly gone. 😂 It was funny because she had already started living like a billionaire before even knowing if the inheritance was really hers. But at the end, I think the movie also shows that sometimes we can be too sure about something before it actually happens. Princess and her uncle had already planned their new life, only for everything to change in one moment.
