I watched One Day One Trouble, and the movie was a very good and interesting movie. It was about a man together with his wife who were always having one trouble or the other, and most of their problems were coming from the wife. She always saw her husband as a useless man. She regularly insulted him, telling him that his mates were out there becoming rich while he was still very poor. This made her husband always worried and upset, and they were not living in peace because they were always fighting day and night just because of the situation of the husband.
This man had tried to work hard to bring food for his family, but his wife did not respect him. She kept insulting him and wanted him to go and become richer just like his other friends. Anytime she saw him, she must insult him, and when he tried to insult her back, that was how the trouble would begin. Sometimes she would ask him for money, and when he told her that he did not have money, she would start insulting him again. In this part, the wife was just so rude to her husband. At least, she should have given him some time to work hard and improve himself instead of always insulting him as if he was a useless man. I actually did not like the way she was treating her husband.
The man later got a job as a cleaner for a single lady who had dated many men before, but most of her relationships had failed. So the man got a job as a cleaner in her house. As things continued, the man started keeping his madam company, and he always made her laugh with his funny accent. It got to a stage where she really enjoyed having him around. Since he came into the house as a cleaner, she had always been laughing and having good moments with him. She was really happy that he came into her life. She would even make him sit down with her and eat together like friends. She was no longer looking at him as just a cleaner.
This man and his madam became very close friends to the stage that they both started having feelings for each other. Mostly, the man was the one who really developed strong feelings because his wife at home was always troublesome and he did not want to stay with her because of all the trouble. So meeting his madam and becoming such close friends made him start having feelings for her, and the madam also started feeling the same way about him.
The man's wife started noticing that her husband was no longer giving her attention. He was not even looking at her the same way he used to look at her as a wife. She started becoming curious and asking herself if this man had started falling in love with another woman. It even got to the stage where, in the middle of the night, her husband would still be awake thinking alone and smiling at the same time. She always wondered why this man was always thinking and happy without giving her the attention he normally gave her. Her husband hardly stayed at home. It was only sleeping that brought him home because he loved his madam's company and did not want to stay with his wife because she was too troublesome.
The wife later noticed that her husband had started falling in love with his madam, and this started disturbing her so much. This was the part where I started knowing that the wife actually loved her husband. She cared for him, but she was just too troublesome. That was the problem with her. But if it was about love, she loved him with all her hear.
The wife started thinking about everything, and she began regretting the way she had been treating her husband and how troublesome and harsh she had always been towards him. She regretted everything and cried because she did not want to lose her husband. The worst thing was that the husband was already trying to get a divorce from her. She really did not want to lose him because she loved him.
This woman ran with her bare feet directly to her husband's working place and met his madam. Immediately she saw her, she started crying and begging her to please leave her husband alone. She told her that he was the only one she had and that she loved him so much. It got to the stage that she even lay down flat and begged her while crying, asking her to please leave her husband because she did not want to lose him.
The madam was very shocked and worried immediately after she saw the woman crying and begging for her husband. She realized that the wife really loved him and that she did not want to lose him. The madam also had feelings for the cleaner, but immediately she saw the wife in that condition, she started thinking about letting the cleaner go back to his wife. She was really worried because she loved the cleaner too and did not know what to do.
After the next day, the cleaner did not even know that his wife had come to his madam to beg her. When he arrived at his madam's place for work, the madam immediately called him. He thought it was going to be their normal funny talk, but unfortunately, the madam poured her heart out to him. She told him that she was no longer interested in anything with him because she did not want any problem with his wife. She also told him to go and reconcile with his wife.
When she said that, he was absolutely surprised. He was asking her if his wife had the audacity to come to her place and try to ruin their beautiful relationship. That was what he was telling the madam. But the madam told him that he should go and reconcile with his wife. She told him that his wife really loved him and that they had to be together. The madam even gave him 10 million naira to start up a business and take care of his family. He collected the money with excitement, but he was still thinking about how he was going to go home and blast his wife. 😂
When he arrived home, he was still very sad. The wife came to him and begged him for everything she had done. She promised that she would not repeat her troublesome behaviour again. Her husband actually calmed down at that moment, but he still had it in his mind that she had destroyed his relationship with his rich madam.
I enjoyed watching this movie because it was funny and it also showed how someone can realize the value of what they have only when they are about to lose it. The wife really loved her husband, but I did not like the way she treated him at the beginning. Insulting your husband every day because he is not rich is not the right way to make him better. Sometimes, encouragement can do more than insults. She almost lost the man she loved because of the way she was treating him.
I also liked the madam because even though she had feelings for the cleaner, she still decided to let him go back to his wife when she realized how much his wife loved him. Giving him money to start a business was also a good thing because she wanted him to take care of his family instead of destroying their marriage.
