The title of this movie is Owing the Devil. This movie is about a man and his daughter who both ended up owing the devil without knowing what would happen to them. The father was the first person to be initiated by his uncle because at that time, he did not have money to take care of his family. Unfortunately, his uncle never told him that there would be serious consequences for what he was doing. Later, his daughter was also initiated by the same uncle. None of them knew the other's secret, so the father kept hiding his secret from his daughter, while his daughter also kept her own secret from him.
The movie was released in 2026, and I want to share some of the parts that were most important and interesting to me.
After everything had gone too far, the uncle started tormenting the father and told him that he had to sacrifice his daughter or he would die. The father loved his daughter so much and did not want to do anything that would hurt her. He started looking for a way to escape, but the uncle kept tormenting him. So he took his daughter away from the city and went to the village to hide so that nobody would know where they were.
The daughter was very upset because she wanted to remain in the city where she had good friends. She kept asking her father why he brought her to this unknown and ugly village, but the father refused to tell her the real reason. He only told her that this was where they would now live. They started arguing like two best friends because they were very close and dramatic together. The daughter wanted to go back to the city, but her father insisted that the village was now their new home.
One day, while the daughter was at home, someone called her father's phone. She picked up the call and discovered that it was the uncle who had been tormenting her father. He was looking for where they were so he could find and kill him. The uncle heard her voice and asked her where she was, but because she was smart, she did not tell him their location. The uncle then told her to meet him somewhere.
When they met, the uncle gave her a lot of money and told her to use it to buy something and eat. She was very happy because they were not having much money, especially since her father was no longer working in the city. She collected the money excitedly, but before leaving, she asked her uncle why he was giving her the money and whether he would ask her for something in return. He told her not to worry and just use the money to buy food and eat.
The girl went to a hotel, bought a lot of food and brought it home. She started eating when her father came and saw her. He was curious and asked where she got the money from. She told him to just come and eat with her if he wanted to know. The father had no choice because he was hungry too, so he joined her and ate the food, but he was still curious about where she got the money.
Then one night, while the father and daughter were sleeping, something strange happened. They suddenly appeared in a demonic room. The daughter was shocked and wondering where they were, while the father was also confused. When they turned and saw each other there together, they were both surprised because they could not understand how they had appeared in the same evil place at the same time.
The demonic people were also surprising and scary, and the king of the devil told them both to keep quiet. After they became quiet, he asked them if they knew why they were there. They both said no. He then told them that they had already taken an oath and now they had to pay it back. The only way to settle everything was for one person to die between the two of them.
This part was very funny to me because immediately after the devil said this, both of them became shocked. Nobody wanted to die because everyone still wanted to live. Even the father did not want to die. The daughter then said that since her father had already lived for so many years, he could just die for her. The father immediately told her to keep quiet. He told her that she would die instead if she did not stop talking.
That was how they kept arguing about who should die, even though they both loved each other. The devil then gave them three days to come back with an answer, or both of them would die.
After they returned, the father and daughter could not stay in peace because they were constantly worried about what would happen. They both loved each other, but at the same time, neither of them wanted to die for the other person. They kept looking for a solution, and at some point, the daughter ran away and went to the church. She lay down flat and started praying.
When the pastor came in and saw her, she explained everything that had happened. The pastor then called her father and some other church members, and they all prayed together. Their prayers were answered, and the demonic people who had been tormenting them finally left them alone.
Not long after that, some police officers came and arrested the evil uncle and the other people involved. They were taken away and sentenced to life in prison for their evil activities. This was how the father and daughter were finally able to live their lives without the devil disturbing them anymore. I enjoyed watching this movie because there were many serious moments, but there were also some parts that really made me laugh, especially when the father and daughter started arguing about who should die. What I learned from the movie is that we should be careful about the decisions we make when we are desperate, because some choices can bring problems that we never expected.
