### [ENG] Checking out the movie options, I decided to watch —in a browser called Hola— **"Superlópez" (2018)**, the action comedy based on the famous Spanish comic book character. Honestly, I went in without high expectations, thinking I'd see a typical American superhero movie, but I was pleasantly surprised because it has a very relatable, everyday touch of humor.La doble vida en la oficina / The Double Life at the Office
[ESP]

The story kicks off with an alien baby sent from his home planet who accidentally crashes in Catalonia, where he is adopted by an earthling family. As an adult, the protagonist is Juan López, a dull, bored, and completely ordinary office worker trying to blend in at an office full of stress and unbearable bosses, all while hiding the superpowers he's had since childhood.

The fun part of this section is seeing how a guy with super strength, laser vision, and the ability to fly has to deal with the exact same earthly problems as any worker: overtime, nosy coworkers, and the constant fear of being exposed.
Humor fresco y torpezas espaciales / Fresh Humor and Space Clumsiness
[ESP]

Unlike Marvel or DC movies where everything is serious and epic, here the strong suit is absurdist comedy and parody. Seeing a caped superhero dealing with his insecurities and making monumental blunders will definitely bring a smile to your face.

It features decent special effects for a Spanish production, but what truly holds the movie together is the cast's chemistry and how they poke fun at the modern corporate world mixed with alien invasions.
Veredicto final / Final Verdict
[ESP]
[ENG]
It's not a masterwork of deep cinema, but if you want to have a good time, laugh out loud, and watch a completely different, relaxed superhero take, "Superlópez" delivers.
