¡Saludos a todos!

Hoy practiqué con la forma de abejita, usé algunas herramientas que me facilitaron el proceso, en un momento pensé que era pan comido, es decir, que era muy fácil, sin embargo cuando llegó el momento de darle vida a la carita no tenía idea cómo lograrla, poco a poco fui avanzando hasta lograrlo.

Me encantan imágenes y objetos de abejitas, las colmenas son muy tiernas, muy "dulces" me recuerdan a mi amado Hive.

Hoy te enseño lo que logré hoy y algunos tips que también podrían ayudarte si eres igual de novato que yo moldeando.

Hello, everyone!

Today I practiced making the little bee shape. I used some tools that made the process easier. At one point, I thought it was a piece of cake—in other words, that it was really easy—but when it came time to bring the little face to life, I had no idea how to do it. Little by little, I kept at it until I finally got it right.

I love images and objects featuring little bees; beehives are so cute—so “sweet”—they remind me of my beloved Hive.

Today I’ll show you what I made and share some tips that might help you if you’re as new to sculpting as I am.

Quise hacer lo más miniatura que pudiera de la abejita, teniendo en cuenta que mientras más pequeña puede ser más hermosa o más desastrosa, el grado de dificultad es más elevado por los detalles.

Moldea dos bolitas, una un poco más grande que la otra, estas formarán el cuerpo de la abeja.

Une las dos bolitas con un poco de pegamento.

Moldea unas tiras de foami color negro muy delgadas, estas formarán las franjas negras del cuerpo de la abeja.

Coloca pegamento y pega las franjas en el cuerpo de la abeja, empezando por el cuello y la otra en el centro del mismo.

Moldea tres piezas de foami color negro, uno con forma de cono para el aguijón y otras dos para las antenas.

Para reforzar las piezas he doblado unos alambritos y luego introducirlos en cada una.

I wanted to make the little bee as tiny as possible, keeping in mind that while the smaller it is, the more beautiful—or the more disastrous—it can be, and the level of difficulty increases because of the details.

Shape two small balls, one slightly larger than the other; these will form the bee’s body.

Join the two balls together with a little glue.

Shape some very thin strips of black foam; these will form the black stripes on the bee’s body.

Apply glue and attach the stripes to the bee’s body, starting with the neck and placing the other one in the center of the body.

Shape three pieces of black foam: one cone-shaped for the stinger and two others for the antennae.

To reinforce the pieces, I bent some small pieces of wire and then inserted them into each one.

Pego el aguijón en el lugar correspondiente aplicando pegamento en el alambre introducido y en la pieza.

Forro con foami color negro los dos alambres para las antenas dejando que la parte superior sea más gruesa, aplico pegamento en cada extremo y las pego en la parte superior de la cabeza de la abeja.

Para lograr un tono más claro de azul, he mezclado con color blanco, luego de obtener el color deseado, moldeo dos piezas, y aplano, con una molde cortante en forma de corazón hice la forma de las alas.

Unta crema en las manos para que des redondez a los bordes y elimines las irregularidades.

I attach the stinger in the correct spot by applying glue to the inserted wire and to the piece itself.

I wrap black foam around the two wires for the antennae, making the top part thicker; I apply glue to each end and attach them to the top of the bee’s head.

To achieve a lighter shade of blue, I mixed in some white. After getting the desired color, I shaped two pieces and flattened them; then, using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, I cut out the wings.

Rub some lotion on your hands to round off the edges and smooth out any rough spots.

Pega las alas en el cuerpo de la abejita, recuerda que son dos corazones y los pegarás de forma invertida.

Moldea dos bolitas pequeñas de foami color negro y pégalas para formar los ojos, con marcador hice los demás detalles.

Ahora dobla la punta de la aguja con aro, aplica pegamento y pega la pieza en el centro de las alas, deja secar bien la pieza y luego introduce el aro del llavero.

Glue the wings to the little bee's body; remember that they are two hearts, and you'll glue them upside down.

Shape two small black foam balls and glue them on to form the eyes; I used a marker to add the other details.

Now bend the tip of the needle with the ring, apply glue, and attach the piece to the center of the wings. Let it dry thoroughly, then thread the keychain ring through it.
