¡Hola comunidad!

Hello, community!
Making worry stones has become more than just a hobby – it’s a passion. When I finish them, it’s almost as if they have a personality of their own. I have fun playing with them and keep them in a little box until they’re adopted by someone who appreciates my craft.
Today I’ve gone for a dark brown shade. To achieve this colour, I had to mix two colours – you’ll see in the step-by-step guide. I hope you like it.

As you can see in the first image, the shade of brown was very light, so I mixed in some black to achieve a darker shade.
After making the little ball, I flattened it with the plastic lid, pressing down with my thumb on the lower centre to form the belly – a hollow that’s what gives it the name ‘worry stone’, as it’s shaped like a finger and is supposed to calm our anxiety when pressed.
I made a small ball out of flesh-coloured foam; it should be a thin layer when flattened. Then I applied glue and stuck it into the indentation.
Take two pieces of the same size and colour, and shape them into two cylinders.

Using the cutting and shaping tool, make two indentations in each one to form the owl’s wings.
Stick each piece to the sides of the owl’s body.
Take two small balls and stick them in the section where the ears go.
Shape two white balls and stick them in the eye area.
Shape a triangle out of orange foam and stick it in the centre of the eyes, then add two small black balls to form the pupils.

Repeat the previous step to make the wings, but this time use orange foam; these will form the feet. Then stick each one in the correct place.
Shape a small heart and stick it onto the tummy.
Using the ball-shaped modelling tool, pick up a small amount of paint to add dotted details to the eyes, cheeks and flesh-coloured area. Leave to dry.
Bend the tip of the ringed needle slightly, place a little silicone on the bend and insert it into the owl’s head. Leave it to dry.
Then attach the ring and the key ring. Remember that once the piece is completely dry, I recommend applying a coat of gloss of your choice.
I hope you like it.
God bless you all.
