Greetings, everyone!
I’ve been looking for fall-related themes—I think mushrooms are one of them. I wanted to explore some ideas and practice shaping a mushroom out of moldable foam; this model is the result. I imagine it made with Porcelanicrón—much thinner and neater, and of course, more delicate. Moldable foam is a very user-friendly material (though not so great for my allergies), but it can be a bit tricky to work with when making miniature or very intricate figures—you have to be very dexterous and have excellent fine motor skills.
The good thing about flexible foam is that when it dries, it becomes sturdy yet remains flexible—it doesn’t break. Porcelanicrón, on the other hand, could break if you make it too thin and handle it roughly, depending on how you use it. Which material do I prefer? It depends on the purpose—I like both—but for making pieces to sell, Porcelanicrón is the better option.
I hope you like it.

Necesitaremos: Foami color carne, foami color blanco, foami color rojo.

We'll need: flesh-colored foam, white foam, and red foam.
Take a piece of flesh-colored foam to shape the base; it's a roughly cylindrical shape with the top slightly narrower.
To keep the piece secure and prevent it from breaking or coming loose, you can use a piece of a tall stick. Cut off a small piece, apply glue, and insert it into the piece, leaving a little bit sticking out.
Shape a triangle out of red foam; like the stem, this triangle should be thinner at the top, and flatten the base slightly.
Shape a piece of flesh-colored foam into a very thin oval and glue it to the bottom of the mushroom’s cap.

Apply glue to the tall stick of the trunk piece, then insert it into the head piece—it’s starting to take shape.
Using a modeling tool, make several grooves on the inside of the mushroom.
Shape several small white foam balls of different sizes; you can make the polka dots as big or small as you like—I think big ones would look really cute.
Glue the white foam balls to the mushroom’s head in different spots, then flatten them with a tool.
Take two black beads and glue them to the stem to form the eyes.

Bendiciones.

Bend the tip of the ring-tipped pin, apply glue to the bend, and insert it into the top of the little mushroom.
Let the piece dry thoroughly before adding the rest of the details.
Use markers to decorate the face—add a mouth, blush, and hair.
Now thread a ring onto the needle and the chain with the keychain.
Optionally, if you like, you can coat it with UV or cold resin; this will give it a beautiful shine and protect it from dirt.
I hope you like it. Blessings.
