¡Hola amigos! Espero que estén viendo muy buenas producciones tanto de peliculas como de series o show de TV. Hoy les quiero traer mi reseña acerca de la temporada 3 de la serie La casa del dragón.
Hi, friends! I hope you're enjoying some great movies, series, and TV shows. Today I want to share my review of Season 3 of the series House of the Dragon.
Trama - Plot
En esta temporada vemos a una Rhaenyra lista para tomar a la fuerza la corona que le pertenece. Con Aegon presuntamente muerto y un Aemond desaparecido, Rhaenyra hace un trato con Alicent para tomar el poder sin tanto derramamiento de sangre. Pero todo se complica cuando se da cuenta que gobernar no es tan fácil como ella creía. Tras perder a su heredero, y tener todo en contra, deberá demostrar de qué está hecha la sangre que corre por sus venas. Mientras surgen nuevos conflictos y traiciones, el panorama entre los reinos se torna cada vez más incierto.
In this season, we see Rhaenyra ready to seize the crown that rightfully belongs to her by force. With Aegon presumed dead and Aemond missing, Rhaenyra strikes a deal with Alicent to take power without too much bloodshed. But things get complicated when she realizes that ruling isn’t as easy as she thought. After losing her heir and facing adversity on all sides, she must prove what the blood running through her veins is made of. As new conflicts and betrayals arise, the situation across the kingdoms grows increasingly uncertain.
Reseña - Review
Una tercera temporada que tuvo sus altas y sus bajas, pero que pude disfrutar a su manera. Esta vez no me preocupé por seguir los capítulos desde el momento en que salieron y la vi a mi ritmo. Debo decir que por momentos me enganchaba y por otros era más de lo mismo. Me gusto que fuera más estratega la temporada y que entraran en el tablero nuevos enemigos que pusieron difíciles las cosas. Como Ormund Hightower, tenía su encanto aunque sus métodos no fueron los mejores, pero se la puso difícil a Rhaenyra y eso hay que reconocerlo. Me gustó su participación, también conocer a Daeron Targaryen, ese chico tuvo suerte de crecer lejos del reino la verdad. Creo que salió bastante decente por el momento, me encantó conocer a su dragón y me encantaría verlo liberado volando sobre él.
A third season that had its ups and downs, but one I was able to enjoy in its own way. This time, I didn’t worry about keeping up with the episodes as soon as they came out; I watched it at my own pace. I have to say that at times it really hooked me, and at others it felt like more of the same. I liked that the season was more strategic and that new enemies entered the fray, making things more difficult. Take Ormund Hightower, for example—he had his charm, even if his methods weren’t the best, but he gave Rhaenyra a run for her money, and you have to give him credit for that. I liked his role, and I also enjoyed meeting Daeron Targaryen—that kid was lucky to grow up far from the kingdom, to be honest. I think he’s come across as pretty decent so far; I loved meeting his dragon, and I’d love to see him set free, flying on its back.
Ahora bien, no sé si se acuerdan, yo soy team black, pero sí cuestione algunas de las acciones de Rhaenyra. Aunque la mayoría de ellas fueron por un mal asesoramiento y porque tenía todas en contra. Eso no quita lo mal que se portó con Helaena que, para mí, es la única de los verdes que merecía compasión y ser feliz. Una pobre víctima desde siempre, ya sabía su final, pero no deja de ser triste todo lo que tuvo que atravesar. Ella solo quería criar a sus hijos lejos de todo este lío de poder, y tener gallinas, un alma pura e inocente que ni siquiera estaba apta para montar un dragón.
Now, I don’t know if you remember, but I’m Team Black—though I did question some of Rhaenyra’s actions. Even so, most of them were due to bad advice and the fact that everyone was against her. That doesn’t take away from how badly she treated Helaena, who, in my opinion, is the only one among the Greens who deserved compassion and a chance at happiness. She was always a poor victim; she already knew her fate, but it’s still sad to think of everything she had to go through. She just wanted to raise her children far away from all this power struggle and keep chickens—a pure and innocent soul who wasn’t even fit to ride a dragon.
Por otro lado, me sorprende la frialdad de Alicent hacia sus hijos varones, estaba dispuesta a sacrificarlos con tal de ser libre junto con Helaena, que ella sentía que era la única hija que podía salvar a esta altura y ni eso pudo hacer. Pero hay que ser muy fría para maquinar lo que hizo, literalmente estaba dispuesta a entregar a un hijo y matar al otro con sus propias manos. Es una mujer muy estratega, eso no lo discuto, pero me hubiera gustado ver que no sea capaz de esos actos. Al final, todos son parecidos. Se jactan de ser menos bestias o usar mejores métodos, pero a la hora de tomar decisiones se guían por sus propios intereses sin tener en cuenta quién debe pagar las consecuencias. Y así hay un montón de ejemplos en esta serie, personajes segados por la codicia, en ese sentido no se salva ni uno.
On the other hand, I’m surprised by Alicent’s coldness toward her sons; she was willing to sacrifice them just to be free alongside Helaena, whom she felt was the only daughter who could save her at that point—and she couldn’t even do that. But you have to be very cold-hearted to plot what she did—she was literally willing to hand over one son and kill the other with her own hands. She’s a very strategic woman—I don’t dispute that—but I would have liked to see her not capable of such acts. In the end, they’re all the same. They boast about being less brutal or using better methods, but when it comes to making decisions, they’re guided by their own interests without considering who will have to pay the price. And there are plenty of examples of this in the series—characters consumed by greed; in that sense, not a single one is spared.
No más quiero decir que me pareció una buena temporada en líneas generales, que sufrí un montón cuando hubo problemas con los dragones porque yo veo esta serie por ellos y obvio que me hace mal cuando pelean o matan a alguno. Y sí, ya sé que es una serie que habla de la extensión de los dragones, pero igual, eso no quita que no sufra por ello. Así que ahí estaré para la próxima temporada ahora que se pone fea la cuestión. Ya veremos cómo terminará todo esto y espero que sea algo digno de ver.
I just want to say that, overall, I thought it was a good season. I suffered a lot when there were problems with the dragons because I watch this show for them, and obviously it upsets me when they fight or when one of them gets killed. And yeah, I know it’s a show about the rise of the dragons, but still, that doesn’t mean I don’t get upset about it. So I’ll be tuning in for the next season now that things are getting ugly. We’ll see how it all ends, and I hope it’s worth watching.
