These days, while working with a company that will be participating as an official CyberMonday store, I found myself thinking again about something that feels increasingly important to me: the way we search for information is changing.
For a long time, we talked about keywords, tags, positioning, and how to appear higher on Google. All of that still matters, but today search has become much more conversational.
More and more people are no longer typing just two or three words into a search engine. They ask questions. They explain what they need. They compare. They ask an artificial intelligence tool to find, summarize, or recommend information for them.
And that changes quite a lot in the way we need to think about our digital presence, because it is no longer only about having a page online or being able to find it manually.
It also matters that the information is organized, clear, and easy to understand when an artificial intelligence tool searches for it, interprets it, or uses it to generate an answer.
That was one of the things that caught my attention the most while working on this case.
Many times, we are still looking only at metrics, keywords, or Google Analytics, while search behavior is already moving somewhere else.
That does not mean that everything we used before is no longer useful. It means that we also need to start paying attention to how we are writing, naming, describing, and structuring the information we publish.
In the video, I share a little more about this reflection and about why I believe that, in the age of artificial intelligence, conversation is also starting to become part of positioning.
Do you feel that the way you search for information has changed since you started using AI tools?
I’ll be reading you in the comments.
A big, big hug. Hope
