Yesterday morning I was out in the garden and found that the peas had still been producing while we were gone. Got a healthy load of them from only a 1/3 of each row. I really need to pull all the dead out today.
The greenhouse had a little of everything ready. The cucumbers were far more normal sized, the tomatoes all in better shape, and we got a nice pile of peppers from the plants.
Early afternoon I was at a client's house up north to do a couple hours work cleaning up this end of her house. It was not a horrible job, just the warm temps were the worst.
It was 2.5 hours in all but I got it all nicely cleaned up and the debris all hauled to her driveway where I have it piled on a tarp then covered with another. She will have her brother stop and haul it off for her.
I made dinner in the evening then after got the trailer hooked up for the grain run I have done this morning.
I was rather surprised to find a healthy looking fungus growing from an ancient stump by the driveway. Seems odd given we have not had much or any rain the past months.
Been to town for grain and shoveled it all out to the sheep pen. Have my session this morning, have to get the boys finished prepping for the start of school tomorrow, really need to get a bike ride in, harvest in the garden, then setup work with clients for the rest of the week. This evening we have the school open houses we will go to so the boys can drop off all their supplies and J can take the school bass back that he was allowed to use over summer break.
