Hey, everyone! That time has finally come!
Even if this series of posts seemed like will never end, in today's post I am going to share the actual ending of the game, after spending more than 20 weeks sharing bits of the progress I made while playing Life is Strange: Reunion and the turnaround of events I got based on my decisions taken in this game.
It's been a long ride, with lots of ups and downs and definitely jumping from one emotion to another, but after sharing in my previous post that I made the right choices in terms of guilty people who could start the fire and also managed to save Chloe and Moses, I am pretty satisfied with how this journey comes to an end.
Though Life is Strange games are anything but games that actually end on a peaceful atmosphere, so there is a bit more to be shared in today's video, which I decided to dedicate a separate post for, while leaving the happy ending as part of my previous post.
This time, Chloe gets to return to how her life used to look before getting involved in searching for evidence and possible suspects when she wanted to help Max to find who the guilty one was. Hence, along with being back in the backstage before meeting her band, this time things are a bit different because there is also Max by her side, who seems so excited for how their life currently looks.
The whole tension of this part of the game is to be found when Chloe gets to read a letter from Moses, who eventually ends it by attaching a picture of Max that she used previously to rewind time and fix possible things that could happen.
If you've followed this series or played the games before, you'll know that Max has a strong desire to always rewind time and find the best way to have things happen in her life, which most likely would eventually have been used again to try and stop the fire that we already know it was impossible to stop.
That's why the game ends, whether Chloe decides to give the picture to Max or burn it and let this story end forever, taking things as they are supposed to happen in life, just like a normal person.
My decision was to burn the photo, as I felt like otherwise it would lead to a lot of unnecessary drama or risk the lives of the main characters once again, but if you had a different path and ending than mine, don't hesitate to share it in the comments! Would love to discover it!
