This week for Four Tune Friday on #NinetiesFriday I’m picking all tunes from albums produced by Steve Albini. For Three Tune Tuesday this month I’m doing producer spotlights each week and Steve will be featured next week, but I thought since I had like 10 records I’m trying to choose from and all are nineties records that I’d feature some of the deeper cut tunes here today! I will save the big albums he did for Nirvana & Bush for Tuesday but he also produced many great lesser known albums. Definitely can hear his signature production style right away. Today I’ll pick from mostly lesser known artists/albums from the nineties alternative rock scene. You might recognize Failure, a band I covered two weeks back focusing on the bands 1996 album only.
