Wednesday Walk Along Libertador Avenue in Cabudare [ENG/ESP]

Warm greetings to all my fellow walkers in this community. I hope you’ve enjoyed a wonderful day filled with good health and blessings.

Today I’m sharing a walk along Libertador Avenue in Cabudare, starting from my home and heading to a nearby auto parts store.

In this area of Cabudare, there are several residential developments located along the avenue. Some, like “La Mendera,” were built many years ago, while the rest are more recent developments. All of them, with their beautiful facades, give this part of the city a pleasant look.

The walk is pleasant because in front of the residential developments there is a green area with plenty of trees that provide shade and a cool atmosphere, especially at this time of year when the sun’s rays are so intense.

Housing developments such as “Los Apamates,” “Los Chaguaramos,” “Villa Mirasol,” “Santa Fe,” and others are located along this avenue, each with a different architectural design on its facade, which is interesting because it adds a beautiful touch to the urban landscape.

If you’ve noticed, most of the neighborhoods in Cabudare are named after trees—not just in this area, but throughout the city center.

Even though it was quite hot at that time of the morning, right in the middle of my walk it started to rain heavily, and I had to take shelter in one of the shops in the area. This is typical of the weather in Venezuela. Even when the sun is shining brightly, clouds begin to roll in and suddenly a downpour breaks out.

After the rain stopped, I continued my walk; it was cooler now, and water was running down the streets. I noticed a construction detail that should be taken into account: avoid using clay tiles on the sidewalks in the sections where the entrance to the residential complex begins, because they become slippery when it rains and can cause an accident. I was able to confirm this because I felt the pavement was slippery and had to walk carefully on some sections of the sidewalk.

That’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed it, and I’ll see you next time.

Best regards and blessings.

    Feliz jueves!

Greetings @gpache, beautiful views of Cabudare Avenue! I’m intrigued by the plants growing on the power lines—I once saw similar ones in a rural area of Sucre. A man there told me that birds carry them to those spots, where they manage to thrive; nature never ceases to amaze.

    Happy Thursday!
