A delicious dish that comes together in just a few steps. I added carrots, which I decided to sauté in the same oil I’d used for the shrimp. The flavor the carrots took on was exquisite—a contrast between the sea and sweetness that I don’t know how to explain. I hope you like the recipe.
Ingredients
- 6 peeled and deveined shrimp
- 150 grams of broccoli
- 1 carrot (65 grams)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
1.- Remove the leaves from the broccoli, wash it, and cut it into individual florets to make it easier to cook.

2.- Boil it with a teaspoon of salt, to taste, until it has softened. Once it's ready, turn off the heat, remove it from the water, and let it cool to room temperature. Set aside.

3.- Boil the egg for 7 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature once the time is up.

4.- Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.

5.- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.

6.- In a skillet, add the teaspoon of olive oil and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute over low heat. Then, add the shrimp and sauté them until they turn pink, about 2 minutes. Set aside.

7.- Peel the carrot, wash it, and cut it into julienne strips. Then, sauté them in the same oil used to brown the shrimp until they are tender. Season with salt to taste beforehand.

8.- We serve the dish, add the shrimp, carrots, sliced egg, and broccoli. Finally, we drizzle a teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil over the broccoli.

A delicious and nutritious dish.
