Of Wellness Breaks and Hump Days [Week 37]

The midweek sneaked in fast. And we are halfway through the month. The neighbors' kids headed to class this morning after a wellness break, which they have every post-exam period. Some grade schools in the next town have the whole week, so my niece was ecstatic. She and her friends had arranged a meetup for out-of-school bonding time (e.g., eat out, play, etc). It's shorter here in DD, though—just two days (four including the weekend). But it's still better than having none.

Last week, my other niece (Kits) came home from the city when their university declared a few days off. It's nice that the current education system has those wellness breaks, allowing students to catch their breath and reset. Back in the day, we only had Sundays and national holidays to rest for a whole semester. Then again, that was over 2 decades ago, lol!

Anyhow, it's sunny today, perfect for a woodworking Wednesday. It's going to be a little noisy here as I'm intending to build a small wooden cabinet for the mudroom.😁

But first, our weekly drill. HIVE pumped to 6 cents the other day, which is quite nice. Well, except that I sold my liquid a little too early (that happens, haha!) and I'm waiting for a good chance to buy back.

Anyhow, I did a small swap 5-6 days ago for some satoshis, ending week 37 with 20,453 sats.

A small increase of 8,623 sats from the previous update, but still higher than the average weekly target of 6.25k sats. That's already a 37% solid win for me, so yay!

Slow but steady growth can still get us to our targets, so we keep going. No more buts! Unfortunately, the HBD Savings goal has to be scrapped abandoned. But who knows? A little over 3 months remain in the year, and things may change. We shall see.😉
