Saludos querida comunidad, feliz #needleworkmonday, hace unos días atrás me escribieron para encargarme dos amigurumis iguales, era una abuela deseosa por regalarle algo especial a sus nietos por lo que escogió a Anng el protagonista de la serie animada Avatar, du petición especial era que le colocara en alguna parte las iniciales de sus no9mbres, yo complacida de hacer este encargo puse manos a la obra 😊

Greetings dear community, happy #needleworkmonday! A few days ago, I received a request to make two identical amigurumi. It was a grandmother who wanted to give her grandchildren something special, so she chose Aang, the protagonist of the animated series Avatar. Her special request was that I include their initials somewhere on the amigurumi. I was happy to take on this commission and got to work 😊

Trabajé con hilo acrílico para crochet y ganchillo de 1.25mm, comencé de pies a cabeza haciendo 6 cadenas de base para el pie, hice 2 hileras con aumentos en las esquinas para obtener un óvalo de 20 puntadas, continué con 2 hileras sin aumentos, luego 3 hileras de disminuciones solo en la punta para obtener un tobillo de 12, hice 2 aumentos para la parte mas ancha de pantorrilla, una vez terminado los colores del zapato hice aumentos para obtener 24 puntadas e hice 5 hileras de puntos bajos. Hice las dos piernas iguales y la uní para hacer 5 hileras de 48 puntos bajos, hice 6 disminuciones por 2 hileras, cambié a hilo naranja para el cinturón de 3 hileras de 36 puntos bajos, cambié a hilo amarillo nuevamente para el tronco e hice 10 hileras de puntos bajos.

I worked with acrylic yarn for crochet and a 1.25mm hook. I started from the foot, making 6 foundation chains for the foot. I worked 2 rows with increases at the corners to create an oval of 20 stitches. I continued with 2 rows without increases, then 3 rows of decreases only at the toe to create an ankle of 12 stitches. I made 2 increases for the widest part of the calf. Once I finished the shoe colors, I increased to 24 stitches and worked 5 rows of single crochet. I made both legs the same and joined them to work 5 rows of 48 single crochet stitches. I made 6 decreases every 2 rows. I changed to orange yarn for the belt, working 3 rows of 36 single crochet stitches. I changed back to yellow yarn for the torso and worked 10 rows of single crochet.

Para los brazos primero con color piel hice 9 puntos bajos en anillo y continué por 4 hileras, aparte con hila naranja hice 15 cadenas en círculo y trabajé una hilera de puntos bajos y una hilera con 3 disminuciones para obtener 12, uní las partes y continué el brazo hasta las 18 hileras. Uní los brazos al tronco con 2 hileras de puntos bajos y le metí alambre por dentro, hice 6 disminuciones por 4 hileras pero el cuarta cambié hilo beige y solo tomé el lado de atrás de las puntadas para dejar el lado del frente para hacer el cuello de la camisa, para le cuello hice 3 disminuciones y continué por 12 hileras. Aparte con naranja hice la capa de la ropa con 30 cadenas círculo por una hilera de puntos bajos, luego continué recto haciendo 6 aumentos por 6 hileras y 6 hileras sin aumentos.

For the arms, I first made 9 single crochet stitches in a ring with skin-colored yarn and continued for 4 rows. Separately, with orange yarn, I chained 15 stitches in a circle and worked one row of single crochet stitches and one row with 3 decreases to obtain 12 stitches. I joined the two pieces and continued the arm for 18 rows. I attached the arms to the torso with 2 rows of single crochet stitches and inserted wire inside. I made 6 decreases for 4 rows, but on the fourth row, I changed to beige yarn and worked only the back loops of the stitches, leaving the front loops to make the shirt collar. For the collar, I made 3 decreases and continued for 12 rows. Separately, with orange yarn, I made the cape with 30 chain stitches in a circle for one row of single crochet stitches, then continued straight with 6 increases for 6 rows and 6 rows without increases.

Para la cabeza con hilo beige hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, una hilera de aumentos y 11 hileras sin aumentos, continué haciendo 6 aumentos por 6 hileras, hice 48 puntos bajos por 14 hileras, coloqué los ojos y continué con 6 disminuciones por hilera hasta cerrar, rellené antes de cerrar. Para la flecha con hilo azul hice 36 cadenas de base y trabajé con puntos bajos de ida y vuelta, pero en la punta hice la flecha haciendo puntos altos y medios altos. Las letras las bordé con el mismo azul de las flechas 😊

For the head, using beige yarn, I made 6 single crochet stitches in a ring, one row of increases, and 11 rows without increases. I continued with 6 increases for 6 rows, then 48 single crochet stitches for 14 rows. I added the eyes and continued with 6 decreases per row until I closed it, stuffing it before closing. For the arrow, using blue yarn, I made 36 foundation chains and worked single crochet stitches back and forth, but at the tip, I made the arrowhead shape using double crochet and half double crochet stitches. I embroidered the letters with the same blue yarn as the arrows. 😊
