Strolling Among Buildings
Today I went out onto the streets of my city again; honestly, I’ve had a pretty rough few days, during which my creative work has been significantly hampered. Furthermore, I’m convinced that this year we’ve had to navigate a series of circumstances that were once unthinkable, but that, in the end, help us strengthen our spirit and keep moving forward in pursuit of our goals and dreams—always with a firmer step and a much more unwavering resolve.

Paseando Entre Edificios
Hoy volví a salir a las calles de mi ciudad; sinceramente, he tenido unos días bastante complicados, en donde el trabajo creativo se ha visto mermado de forma considerable. Además, estoy convencido de que este año nos ha tocado atravesar una serie de circunstancias que eran impensables, pero que al final de todo esto nos ayudan a fortalecer el espíritu y a seguir avanzando en la búsqueda de nuestras metas y sueños, siempre con un paso más firme y una voluntad mucho más inquebrantable.

It is precisely under these circumstances that residential skyscrapers are rising in the heart of the city—buildings that go unnoticed in the daily life of the capital, but which, in reality, stand out as some of the most interesting structures in the entire area. This is a high-density private development whose structural integrity was approved two months ago, enabling it to withstand the forces of nature admirably and remain standing for many more years to come.
Es precisamente bajo estas premisas que en el corazón de la ciudad se levantan unos rascacielos residenciales en la cotidianidad capitalina pasan desapercibidos, pero que en la realidad se consolidan como una de las estructuras más interesantes de toda la zona, puesto que se trata de un proyecto privado de alta densidad poblacional y cuya resistencia ha sido aprobada hace dos meses, logrando de esta forma soportar los embates de la naturaleza de manera admirable, para pie durante muchos años más.
The streets of Caracas remain bustling places, where people come and go ceaselessly, each living in their own world and grappling with their own lives, but all sharing a common urban space, which remains incredible, dynamic, and perfect for those urban walks I love so much—since it’s in these moments that I find the inspiration to write, the angles to photograph, and the peace of mind that’s sometimes so sorely needed.
Las calles de Caracas siguen siendo espacios altamente concurridos, en donde personas van y vienen sin cesar, cada uno viviendo su propio mundo y luchando con su propia vida, pero todos compartiendo un espacio urbano común, el cual sigue siendo increíble, dinámico y perfecto para esas caminatas urbanas que tanto me gustan, ya que es de estos momentos en donde saco la inspiración para escribir, los ángulos para fotografiar y la tranquilidad que a veces tanto hace falta.
Many believe that, because it’s such a big city, everything here is chaotic, hectic, or fast-paced, and the reality is that there is indeed a bit of all that, but there are also moments to walk while enjoying the architecture, nature, and the combination of all these elements in a unique urban space, where the modern, the classic, and the daring coexist in perfect harmony.
Muchos creen que, por ser una ciudad tan grande, acá todo es caótico, convulso o acelerado, y la realidad es que sí hay un tanto de todo eso, pero también existen momentos para caminar disfrutando de la arquitectura, la naturaleza y la conjunción de todos estos elementos en un espacio urbano único, en donde lo moderno, lo clásico y lo atrevido coexisten en armonía perfecta.
