Hace unos días vi una película en Netflix que, por el elenco, me imaginé que sería buena. La película de llama "te encontraré" Era una película de suspenso que contaba la historia de David, nuestro protagonista, quien fue encarcelado por acabar con la vida de alguien muy pero muy cercano a él, y de una manera bastante terrible, cuyo único destino es morir en prisión, ya que está pagando una cadena perpetua por este crimen.

The movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. At first, you don’t know who’s telling the truth, and throughout the entire movie, you can’t figure out who’s good and who’s bad—or even what the bad guy’s motives are for doing what he does. As I watched it, I had a bunch of theories about who was involved in this whole crime and even thought of some possible motives, but I was wrong about everything.
The truth is, it’s one of those movies that ends in a totally unexpected way. The ending is nothing like what you thought, and honestly, personally, I love these movies where everything turns out to be a surprise. Of course, the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering what’s going to happen next and eager to finally find out who’s involved in all of this and why.
Puedo decir que es una película que avanza rápido y es bastante movida, así que no solamente es entretenida de ver, sino que no te permite distraerte, sino estar atento a todo lo que está ocurriendo. Ya sabemos que hoy en día, por la poca concentración que todos tenemos debido a los videos cortos, esto es algo superpositivo de una película, así que ya por ese lado tiene varios puntos positivos.
Esta película me dejó varios puntos sobre los cuales reflexionar. El primero de ellos es lo necesario que es tener a alguien, aunque sea una sola persona, que crea en tu palabra, que crea en ti cuando te hace falta. Nos encontramos completamente solos y hasta podemos perder la esperanza y resignarnos, pero, a su vez, podemos lograr demasiadas cosas cuando aunque sea una persona cree lo que le estamos diciendo. Así que me hizo pensar en la importancia de hacer buenos amigos y de tener gente en la vida que siempre te motive a ser mejor y que te conozca tanto que sepa de lo que eres y no eres capaz.
Por otro lado, al terminar la película me quedé con esta sensación rara en el cuerpo, de lo loco que es hoy en día el poder que tiene una persona por el simple hecho de tener los medios económicos para comprar lo que sea y a quien sea. Da algo de miedo darse cuenta de que vivimos en un mundo en el que una persona puede pagar por su inocencia y simplemente seguir con su vida normal como si nada hubiera pasado. Es el caso de que el ser humano le ha dado toda autoridad al dinero y este puede corromper hasta a la persona más buena si no tiene cuidado.
Y, por último, también me dejó pensando mucho en el concepto de amor que los seres humanos tenemos. Muchas veces este va condicionado a la forma en la que fuimos criados y, si no trabajamos en ello, puede llevarnos a causar daño a esa persona que tanto decimos que amamos. Debemos aprender y tener muy claro lo que es el verdadero amor y cómo este jamás hace nada que pueda lastimar a nuestro ser amado e incluso a las personas que son importantes para él.

This movie gave me several points to reflect on. The first is how essential it is to have someone—even just one person—who believes what you say and believes in you when you need it most. We can find ourselves completely alone and may even lose hope and give up, but at the same time, we can achieve so much when even just one person believes what we’re saying. So it made me think about the importance of making good friends and having people in your life who always motivate you to be better—people who know you so well that they understand what you’re capable of and what you’re not.
On the other hand, when the movie ended, I was left with this strange feeling—about how crazy it is these days that one person can wield so much power simply because they have the financial means to buy anything and anyone. It’s a little scary to realize that we live in a world where a person can pay for their innocence and simply go on with their normal life as if nothing had happened. The fact is that human beings have given all authority to money, and it can corrupt even the kindest person if they aren’t careful.
And finally, it also made me think a lot about the concept of love that we humans have. Often, this concept is shaped by the way we were raised, and if we don’t work on it, it can lead us to hurt the very person we claim to love so much. We must learn and be very clear about what true love is and how it never does anything that could hurt our loved one—or even the people who are important to them.
