Ya casi se va septiembre, y ha sido un mes de prisas y de poco tiempo libre para mi mismo. Las cosas están duras aquí y amerita hacer esfuerzos extras para mantener el hogar andando lo mejor posible... Sí, ya casi se va septiembre y comienzo a hacer algunas recopilaciones fotográficas, de esas que tanto me gusta hacer, de esas de cosas como puertas, como ventanas, como gatos y como perros... Y hoy esto se trata de gatos, y pensé que no tendría muchos de septiembre, pues como dije antes, no he tenido mucho tiempo para mi y por ende tampoco para salir a hacer mis fotos callejeras, cuando menos no con la frecuencia que quiero hacerlo. Pero sea como sea, en mis archivos había suficientes fotos gatos como para estar un par de horas seleccionándolas, procesándolas y compartiéndolas... Hasta llegué a tener en la cabeza la loca idea, de que estos gatos se habían metido en los archivos de mi PC por cuenta propia 😹, pero creo que eso no es posible, quien sabe...
September is almost over, and it's been a hectic month with little free time for myself. Things are tough here, and it requires extra effort to keep the household running as smoothly as possible... Yes, September is almost here, and I'm starting to compile some of those photo collections I love to do, the kind of things like doors, windows, cats, and dogs... And today it's all about cats. I thought I wouldn't have many from September, because, as I said before, I haven't had much time for myself, and therefore not as much time to go out and take my street photos, at least not as often as I'd like. But anyway, I had enough cat photos in my files to spend a couple of hours selecting, processing, and sharing them... I even had the crazy idea that these cats had somehow gotten into my computer files on their own 😹, but I don't think that's possible, who knows...
And while I was having fun processing these photos I thought that, I need to change some things, I can't continue reducing my time, my space, this thing that I have worked hard for myself and with determination... Yes, I need my time again for these cats, for the dogs, for the streets and the faces of the people trying to be happy... I know that this may sound a little selfish or even childish, and even more so at a time when the town's economy seems to have declined even more... But I need that time to wander the streets while I really I exist... And October comes, and then I will see what I invent to return to the wide path of hours without gray thoughts...
Y mientras me divertía procesando estas fotos pensé que, necesito cambiar algunas cosas, no puedo seguir reduciendo mi tiempo, mi espacio, esto que me he procurado a pulso y con empeño... Sí, necesito de nuevo mi tiempo para estos gatos, para los perros, para las calles y los rostros de la gente intentando ser felices... Sé que esto puede sonar un poco egoísta o incluso infantil, y más en momentos en los que la economía del pueblo parece haber decaído aún más... Pero yo necesito ese tiempo de deambular las calles mientras de verdad existo... Y viene octubre, y entonces veré que cosa invento para volver al sendero ancho de las horas sin pensamientos grises...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
