Black And White

Another walk along the riverbank before the water rises... ("Monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

I am very happy to be among the loyal followers of this wonderful "Black and White Community". When I plan my shots for "Monomad," I can't help but think of the riverbank; As you know—or at least, if you’re among those who follow my posts—our coastline is truly beautiful. I also wanted to capture some shots before the water levels rise due to the ¨weather/climate¨:

Whenever I plan a photography outing in the city center, I choose this lovely ¨neighborhood¨: it stretches largely along the ¨riverfront¨: this area is full of beautiful spots where one can pause to plan a "hunt" for images to use in our posts.

What is interesting about this green space is that it follows the curves of the river, creating natural nooks that are truly pleasant to spend time in. One such area is located where there were once large plantations of "tacuara" (bamboo): although nothing remains of the original landscape, this spot is truly charming.

This is one of those "spaces" that I really like; beyond the tranquility and comfort of the location, there are many other features worth pausing for—perfect for capturing beautiful images of what the site has to offer—such as the large mural depicting various animals from that era.

It’s always great to visit the riverbank when taking shots for this contest; as I mentioned before, there are many beautiful spots here that I want to share with everyone.
