Creo que todos saben que por "indicación médica" tengo que hacer caminatas a diario, y como verdadero apasionado de la naturaleza, siempre que tengo que caminar, escojo hacerlo en un terreno con abundancia natural que me permita hacer mis caminatas ¨científicas¨: para estudiar las diferentes plantas que se cruzan en mi camino. En este gran espacio hay muchas especies de grandes árboles con abundantes ramas que hacen que caminar bajo sus sombras sea muy agradable.
I think everyone knows that, on "medical advice," I have to go for daily walks. As a true nature enthusiast, whenever I walk, I choose terrain rich in nature that allows me to turn my walks into "scientific" expeditions—studying the different plants I encounter along the way. This vast area features many species of large trees with spreading branches, making it very pleasant to walk in their shade.

En el paseo ¨fotográfico¨: de esa semana vi y fotografié cosas realmente muy interesantes, que les voy a ir enseñando a lo largo del post. Este lugar, como toda reserva, tiene mucha presencia de vida silvestre; una de ellas son las diferentes especies de aves, cuya presencia deja evidencia de su paso por el predio en las grandes ramas de los árboles, que es donde generalmente construyen sus ¨nidos¨: la verdad es que cada especie tiene su propio nido, y dependiendo de la especie es la forma de ellos; lo cierto es que hay especies que construyen sus nidos en las ramas de los árboles, otros lo hacen dentro de la madera del árbol, y están aquellos que tienen nidos más vulnerables al construirlos en el suelo. Durante nuestra caminata ¨científica¨: tuvimos la oportunidad de hallar tres tipos de ¨nidos¨: uno de ellos está construido en barro, y este tipo de construcciones está hecho por una especie de ¨ave¨: otro tipo de nido que pudimos hallar es una especie colgante; en esta zona lo construye otro tipo de ¨ave¨: . El tercer nido que encontramos es de construcción vegetal tipo cuenco; posiblemente el ave constructora sea un ¨zorzal¨: . Qué genial que hayamos dado con estos tres tipos de nidos de aves.
During that week's "photo walk," I saw and photographed some truly interesting things, which I will share with you throughout this post. Like any reserve, this place is teeming with wildlife; this includes various bird species that leave traces of their presence on the large tree branches where they typically build their "nests." The truth is that each species has its own unique nest, with shapes that vary by species; while some build their nests on tree branches, others construct them inside the wood itself, and some—building on the ground—have nests that are more vulnerable. During our "scientific" walk, we had the opportunity to find three types of "nests" : one was made of mud—a type of structure created by a specific "bird" species—and another type we found was a hanging nest; In this area another type of ¨ave¨: is built. The third nest we found is of a bowl-type plant construction; Possibly the construction bird is a ¨thrush¨: . How great that we have found these three types of bird nests.

Al parecer, este era el día en que debíamos descubrir ¨nidos¨: de ¨aves¨: ya que al ver este gran ¨árbol¨: entre sus ramas volvimos a dar con esta increíble construcción. It seems this was the day we were meant to discover "nests": of "birds": for upon seeing this large "tree": we once again came across this incredible structure among its branches. This tree species is native to "South"-"America": and is planted for the immense shade it provides—something much needed given the city's high temperatures—though our ancestors cultivated it for its durable wood used in the construction of "canoes": This tree bears a black fruit, which some indigenous villages used as soap.

Una familia de plantas que hay en abundancia en las praderas de la reserva son las que se conocen como ¨Asteraceae¨: especialmente del género de las ¨Aldama¨: Este género de plantas se las puede encontrar desde ¨Estados¨-¨Unidos¨: hasta ¨Chile¨: Este es un género de plantas florales con más de cien especies, y la que tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar es de una especie conocida como ¨Aldama¨-¨tucumensis¨: esta especie en especial es originaria de como ¨Argentina¨: .
One family of plants found in abundance in the reserve's grasslands is the Asteraceae family—specifically the Aldama genus. Plants of this genus can be found ranging from the United States down to Chile. It is a genus of flowering plants comprising over a hundred species; the one I had the opportunity to photograph belongs to the species known as Aldama tucumensis, a species native to Argentina.
