This microfiction story is for the prompt "car crash". It reminds me of numerous incidents I've witnessed and read about over the years. I always wonder how the incident occurred. They all seem so bizarre that figuring out what actually happened can be a maze. All parties involved in the incident have varying accounts. It's difficult sometimes to get to the truth of the matter. I share a micro story along those lines. Hope you enjoy. A ZAPFIC50 story is told in exactly 50 words. Below is my story.
All who examined Reginald Harmond reached the same conclusion. His account of the car crash that left him incapacitated was purely fabricated.
Reginald rejected their findings.
Citing bias against his fame and wealth, he initiated libel and slander lawsuits against them.
Unfortunately for him, the unidentified female passenger survived.
