Raindrops on my bonsais 🌧️🌸
Hi #hivegarden friends! I want to tell you that today I got up early like always to check on my bonsais, because you get attached to them and it’s already part of the routine. I walk around them, pull out the weeds and any dry little leaves, and sometimes I even talk to them a little.
My son and the dog also got up with me, and we realized the whole porch was wet, and I said, “What happened here?” It had rained all through the night, and we hadn’t even noticed. I love when that happens, because the plants wake up different, like more alive, and it’s really good for their health.
So I started checking them one by one, and that’s when I got stuck looking at the raindrops on the leaves. They looked huge, shiny, like something out of a beautiful painting, so I didn’t waste any time—I grabbed my phone and started taking photos, trying not to move my hand too much so the drops wouldn’t fall. The funny thing is the flowers were also full of water drops; there are some pink ones that look super tender, some red ones that really stand out against the green, and some white ones that inspire purity. Honestly, I stayed there for a good while enjoying this little gift from nature.
And well, that’s what I wanted to share with you. I took several photos and I’ll post most of them. It’s not a big deal, but it’s one of those moments that brightens your morning. Sometimes we’re running around with the day’s tasks and forget to stop and notice these little details. Does that happen to you too—you end up staring at your plants for a good while, completely lost in thought? Tell me, because I’m curious. I’ll leave the photos here.
