I was tired but decided to watch a movie tonight after a long day when I came across this movie. I have been skipping it but decided to look at it once again and if I must be honest with myself, it wasn’t a waste of time at all. I can still remember watching this blockbuster back in the day, and to be honest I did not really understand the movie itself then, I just loved the actions and the way Neo fought, menh back then it was thrilling. Still thrilling, but back then there was nothing like it. However, looking at it now, I can really understand the movie. I wish I rewatched part 1 now LOL, but either way I watched this one so I will review it.
So this looked like it happened six months after part one, Neo was already one of the most powerful humans fighting in the war against machines, the way he manipulated the matrix was just so insane that you would think he will be the savior of humanity. The machines however are already planning an attack on Zion, the last human city to survive and they attacked with such ferocity that it left the humans with almost no way to fight back. This made Neo, Trinity and Morpheus return to the matrix to seek answers for a way out which was when they met the Keymaker.
The Keymaker just happened to be a program that could open doors that were normally inaccessible within the matrix. And even with everything happening at the same time, Neo was having continuous visions of Trinity dying which in a way made him conflicted and started trying to find ways to save Trinity while Morpheus was trying to get him to see saving Zion was the ultimate priority. At a point Neo had to choose between saving Zion or saving Trinity and he chose Trinity in place of Zion which made the machines almost take over Zion completely. But everything exploded when Neo realized a crucial detail, he could actually use his power outside of the matrix.
